Doolittle: After two years of training...

you believe that
a $(450.000) airplane...is thereforyour amusement?

Rafe: No, sir.
I was just trying...to keep my edge, Major.

Doolittle: And when you did
the outside loop lastweek...
what did you think that was?
Honing your skills?

That's not training, McCawley.
That's astunt.

And personally
consider it to be reckless..and irresponsible.

Rafe: Major...
How could that be,
when you're famous...
for being the first man
in the world ever to do it?

Doolittle: Don't get cute with me, son.

Rafe: No, sir, I don't mean
to be disrespectful.
I justthinkthat--
well, l--
It is reckless
and irresponsible...if you're just doing it
to be a show-off. But I was doing it to try
to inspire the men, sir...in the way that
you've inspired me.
I believe the French
even have a wordforthat...when the men get together
to honor their leaders.
They call it an homage, sir.

Doolittle: A what?

Rafe: An homage, sir.

Doolittle: That's bull****, McCawley!

But it's very,
very good bull****.

Rafe: Thank you, sir.

I love you. I am who I am because of you. You are every reason, every hope, and every dream I've ever had, and no matter what happens to us in the future, everyday we are together is the greatest day of my life. I will always be yours.

Mr. Darcy: So this is your opinion of me. Thank you for explaining so fully. Perhaps these offences might have been overlooked had not your pride been hurt by my honesty...
Elizabeth Bennet: My pride?
Mr. Darcy: ...in admitting scruples about our relationship. Could you expect me to rejoice in the inferiority of your circumstances?
Elizabeth Bennet: And those are the words of a gentleman. From the first moment I met you, your arrogance and conceit, your selfish disdain for the feelings of others made me realize that you were the last man in the world I could ever be prevailed upon to marry.
[they look at each other for a long time as though about to kiss]
Mr. Darcy: Forgive me, madam, for taking up so much of your time

I don't know why, but this is one of my favorite lines in this movie.

Mark darcy in Bridget jones

I don't think you're an idiot at all. I mean, there are elements of the ridiculous about you. Your mother's pretty interesting. And you really are an appallingly bad public speaker. And, um, you tend to let whatever's in your head come out of your mouth without much consideration of the consequences... But the thing is, um, what I'm trying to say, very inarticulately, is that, um, in fact, perhaps despite appearances, I like you, very much. Just as you are.

Hahaha I always like your threads Julianna.
I don't tend to remember the exact lines but here is one I'll always remember:

Aim for the moon. For even if you fail, you’ll land among the stars.- P.S. I love you

Oh and another one, very famous :
Say hello to my little friend - Scarface
I liked to use this one when a very short friend of mine arrived to a place haha.

"Beowulf"

I do not know how accurate these lines are to the original Beowulf story, but I liked them in the computer animated version of Beowulf, starring Ray Winstone and Angelina Jolie. These first lines are spoken by a priest to his king after the town was attacked by the creature Grendel (keep in mind, the story takes place in the 5th century).

Unfearth: My king, for deliverance our people sacrifice goats and sheep to Odin and Heimdall. With your permission, shall we also pray to the new Roman god, Christ Jesus? Perhaps he can lift our affliction.

Hrothgar: No, Unferth, no. No, the gods will do nothing for us that we will not do for ourselves. What we need is a hero.

In the second half of the movie:

Beowulf: The time of heroes is dead, Wiglaf. The Christ God has killed it, leaving humankind with nothing but weeping martyrs.

Although the Beowulf character makes that statement sorrowfully and with animosity (because he realizes he cannot achieve true glory through his own achievements), I actually thought it was an excellent confession, because it conveys the truth that for Christians there can be no greater examples of genuine "heroes" than our brothers and sisters who stare death in the face and die with immovable and unconquerable faith; and of course the ultimate standard of a true hero is Jesus Christ, who triumphed through His death, and is hence the Lord of the Martyrs, and through Him all martyrs will be raised in His ultimate glory!
