]. Visit a mission field and do something there for Jesus. Even turning on the air conditioner would do! Is that a sign of reluctancy? God will work out whether that is a visit a foreign land issue or a serve on a mission field issue. I have time to figure it out! Maybe.
]. Join a choir. Now this may take a more supernatural intervention kind of faith that I have up until now, lacked. So maybe I should label #2 as "Stretching my faith" and follow it with #2. Join a choir.
]. Volunteer in more community service. I do Church work all the time but to cross over into simply community work would challenge my ability to serve the unchurched even more. Besides it may even help people.....smile.
]. Find every person I have ever wronged and apologize. I heard a person from our church talk about the 12 step program they were apart of, and in it this was a element of the healing process, and I thought, why isn't that great for all of us? So, since then God has terrified me over Him answering that prayer. OK, It wasn't God who terrified me....smile. But since I was terrified you and I both know He will answer it! Soon! Relentlessly, until I have given it a all-in effort! God bless Him for doing this to me! Wait, can you bless God with God? Hmmm.
]. Give a needy child a christmas he will never forget. But then God gets all up in my head about this: What if the child has a sibling? Would I omit them? Could I do this just once, then abandon the kid because, "I checked him off my bucket list?" What else will I do for him? What exactly would be the most beneficial gift for him? How would I procure this? etc etc...but, I need not buy myself a McDonalds gift card and use it, sitting in the restaurant for hours worrying over what I should do for the kid still in the corner without a McD..[or healthy food]...as I contemplate the child"s level of happiness to come. I need to just act like Nike and "Just do it."
]. And finally, I want to walk across a whole State [which one is optional] without any concerns of time, enjoying every area- good and bad-along the way, without a car, or any other means of transportation. Seriously!
I have a whole list of trivial bucket list items too....like eating fried grasshoppers, and snake, to ...taking my niece to Disney World. Wait 'I've been to both Disney land and World, so maybe this is more her bucket list, when it comes to loving kids you forget who's list it is.
