If you study further the word of God on the verse you quoted,
"It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."
it is pretty clear that man needs help, period. Therefore, men should appreciate for all the help they get from getting thru with women's help.
Also, I respectfully disagree with your view that the whole human race will be transformed to God's will and likeness IF women take back their God given position - focus shouldn't be on women's responsibility but rather on men's responsibility to love his wife as Christ loved His church. If, IF all hisband love his wife as Christ loved His church, i.e., with his life, then you don't need to tell wives to do their part because she will give everyhing to him as she knows how much she is being loved - just like we would give our everyhing to Jesus as we become more aware of His love for us, not because of fear or out of duty. For real, I am willing to bet my Honda that the whole human race will be more likely to be transformed to God's will and likeliness if husband loves his wife with his life and every single man out there respects and honors all women, whether his mother, sister, coworker, or just anyone he comes across.
