Hey that artificial foliage is no fun when it scratches your cornea :)

Those velcro shoes you're wearing are very fetching. Do they give them to you when you get on the short bus?

I was on a date a while back and he stood behind me with his arms around my waist and the room was really silent and all of a sudden I heard sniffing and then he said "your hair is soft and smells so good". That was a little strange for me as I actually have never had someone mention they like to sniff hair:confused:

It was yesterday, my co-workers and i were talking about beautiful celebrities here in our country. And one of them say to me, "she was like you with flashing eyes."
I dont know how should i felt about that. But it was funny.

We have bible study in our workplace everyweek, lead by the three of us, my fellow christian officemates, last night it was my time to lead the word, after the bible study, one of my officemate approached me, since i am one of their Team lead in work, she said

Officemates: mam, i never knew you are a christian.
Me: why?
Officemates:because you don't look like one, you always look strick and stiff. But i guess looks can be decieving, you will never know the person unless you will be with them and know their story.
Me: (and i was like ) i don't know if il be happy about it or what lol. Because when it comes to work, its work i just said.
And we just laughed lol.

I entered an electronic section of a store and the guy(employee) behind the counter froze everything he was doing, including dealing with his customer (my sister's husband), and said, "Hold on! I just have to say your beard is epic. Its like a dragon beard." Peculiar compliment but made me feel uplifted. :)

"Do you want fries with that?"

I think it was a compliment....
I mean it must of been.

How caring of the gentleman at Burger King to be so concerned if I am getting enough to eat. Lol :p

Oh my oldest reminded me of one. One they thought was funny because I was so air headed about it.

Tourist - " You look like Princess Grace!"
Me - "I'm sorry who?"
Tourist - "Princess Grace!"
Me - "Thank you, I am unsure which princess that is. I like Aurora!"
Tourist - Total look of idiot blonde american on face "Princess Grace as in Grace Kelly!"
Me - "Wow, my apologies and thank you very much. She was beautiful."
Tourist - "Yes, she was!" ...----->>>>>Tourist walks away shaking head, my oldest laughing like crazy!

That's quite a compliment! She was beautiful. Not even Audrey Hepburn had anything on her IMO.

You...do know who Audrey Hepburn is...? ;) :p

BTW - Anne Hathaway reminds me of Audrey Hepburn! Anne isn't as much of a waif, but Audrey was like that because of malnourishment as a child. I find both very beautiful Brunettes. Yes I am secure enough as a woman to say another woman is beautiful!

I've given weird "compliments" (if that could be called a compliment)

First year of university, a couple of us were hanging out and I happened to see a guy I vaguely knew. This guy was a soccer player and he was quite fit - he had chiseled cheekbones (very Adonis like).

I was with a couple of girls and I don't know why I did this, but I just casually commented "Oh that's so and so. He has good bone structure."

Unfortunately, some guy who was skulking behind us heard it and obviously went and told Mr Adonis.

It then spread like wildfire. He was promptly nicknamed "Bone Structure/Pretty Boy" (for almost 2 years)

I was embarrassed.

However later that day, Mr. Adonis found out my number and sent me texts pretending to be outraged that I had ruined his reputation and demanded that I make up for it by going on a date with him.

I never did. Mr A. still asks for a date now and then though we've become friends. He once sent a petition to me to accept a proposal to be "his girlfriend."

I took it all as good fun though he has confessed to being extremely attracted to me.

I just don't date non-Christians. (or rather I just don't date.)
