Bourgeois.

It's a fancy french word for a middle class society that is preoccupied with materialistic things. A mediocre, unimaginative, or materialistic person. I would never say it though unless my choice of words and phrases changed, and I only spoke in fancy strong words, otherwise it would seem as if I am trying too hard to be clever :rolleyes: So its best to avoid it altogether :p

It just sounds awesome. Its a dutch word and it means 'someone who reads in bed' > i just love to be sitting warm in bed, having a cup of tea and reading a nice book: life is good!

Right now it's a tie between "dauntless" and "retribution".

[h=2]I've always thought this was a fun word -

dis·com·bob·u·late[/h] [dis-kuh
m-bob-yuh-leyt] Show IPA
verb (used with object), dis·com·bob·u·lat·ed, dis·com·bob·u·lat·ing. to confuse or disconcert; upset; frustrate: The speaker was completely discombobulated by the hecklers.

Origin:
1825–35, Americanism; fanciful alteration of discompose or discomfort

[h=2]se·gue[/h] [sey-gwey, seg-wey] Show IPA verb, se·gued, se·gue·ing, noun

verb (used without object) 1. to continue at once with the next musical section or composition (often used as a musical direction).

2. to perform in the manner of the preceding section (used as a musical direction).

3. to make a transition from one thing to another smoothly and without interruption: The conversation segued from travel anecdotes to food.

noun 4. an uninterrupted transition made between one musical section or composition and another.

5. any smooth, uninterrupted transition from one thing to another.

I love using this word in error - "now we are segueing out of this and into this" therefore interrupted and not at all smooth :p

Confounded. Used for emphasis, esp. to express anger or annoyance: "he was a confounded nuisance". Any show/movie depicting around the 18th or 19th century will use it. Use it today, and surprise all your friends! :D ;)
