So I say it was a good day for love. There have been many threads about matchmaking, and of course we are happy for Tintin, Arlene, Tourist and JesusLoves, Bananapie and Akrick, Oncefallen and his bride. But there are many types of love. God's agape love for us, and the platonic love of two young ladies who share the awe of our Lord.
In other words you mean to say that we singles can have an awesome life. I heard it loud and clear, Jim. :p

please don't make it a habit to drink 4 cups or more of coffee a day it's linked to early death
Please ignore the troll. I have seen him on other forums and he makes pointless statements like these.

Haha.. I really thought the thread was about two non-coffee drinkers finally decided to give coffee a try, thus, meeting together so they can go through this together, but they ended up having jasmine pearl tea and hot chocolate instead, sticking to what they usually drink, missing the opportunity to experience what could have been a wonderful experience...

Alright! This is awesome. I am happy to just sit on His shoulders and watch what He does when we are obedient.

I am glad my two South Asian sisters got to meet each other. I guess this confirms the old saying, "the sister of my sister is my sister." At least I think that's an old saying, my aunt used to say it all the time ever since she had that accident with the washing machine.

I am going to figure out how to make that Lego guy my avatar, I love it. :) and Rachel, you are both beautiful, no matter how worn-out your jeans are.

Roh Chris: I think your bear answered your question for you :D

KenThomas: I messaged Gene77 to tell her that I thought she and Rachel20 would hit it off together, nothing was misinterpreted :p

Thank you, JimJimmers :) It surely was a good day for some sisterly love. And, you were right. Rachel is tall! Rachel got a random dude passing by to click a picture of us standing next to the Lego you. I'm sure she'll share it. She pretty much towered over me and the Lego JimJimmers. Haha. She's beautiful :)

Oh, and Rachel looked refreshing. She dressed up well. So, I'm the only one who was dressed pretty much vintage. Specifically, a Marks and Spencer black Tshirt that I've possessed since I was 12 :/ And, a scarf that is over 25 years old. Haha.

Well, I was referring to the Single forum. :p
I knew you were going to say that! LOL. Actually, I'm not quite sure why Rachel posted this thread here, which only led her to feel uncomfortable that this thread was amid other romantic threads. Haha.

But, true, we're happily unmarried sisters in Christ, who are so grateful to God and JimJimmers for bringing us together. =) Finding a good Christian friend who you can relate to, and share your love for Jesus is not that easy to find here. Thinking about that, I happen to be the only Christian in my entire team, at work. Hmm, maybe that's why God placed me here.

Are you the only Christian in your entire team? Wow!

I haven't met any CC-er who lives in my city (Chennai). I do visit Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune and Delhi often. So if I make any friends, I will meet them. :)

Are you trying to subtly find out if Rachel and I are in Bangalore, Mumbai, Pune, or Delhi? Haha! Those are pretty much the other big cities in India, apart from Chennai.

Gene, you are so cool.

I was actually having a terrible day, but meeting you really cheered me up!

I was so excited, that I couldn't help being a little hyper haha. I laughed so much :p LOL. Sorry .....!!!

Honestly, this was me when I saw your jeep! Haha.

I mean seriously - a total outback/rough roads kinda jeep!!! How cool is that!!

The best part was meeting "JimJimmers", or at least me noticing him. Gene you are such a sweetheart and so kind! Now that I think about it, I am mortified at the way I was.

I think I was so weird because we didn't even have to ask that guy to take our picture. I must have looked like such a forlorn puppy hahaha.

He was like "-__- weird girl making weird faces at me. Might as well take their picture"

Haha!!!

PS- About the thread, I was a little concerned if this was just ...*heebie jeebies* *brrrrr*
I don't know why I posted on Singles Forum, that hyperness and excitement must have stayed on for a while.

But yeah I am so excited to find a friend in you.

Female friends are just way better than any guy friend in my opinion :p

Especially godly, kind and gracious women like Gene ^_^.

Haha, Rachel! You were absolute fun to be with! I really did enjoy our evening out.

About my jeep, :D, I love it!! For once, I can actually drive through the streets without being made to push over to the side in order to give leeway to a goon in a car. Especially those yellow boards! Everyone sees a big, black monster hurling towards them, and moves out of the way. =P Well, except the buses, of course. They always think that they own the road.

Oh, and we did have another CC-ite join us for a bit, over Skype: Roamer. He didn't know about this thread. I just told him.

About, that guy who clicked our picture. He was making weird faces at his mom or aunt clicking a picture of the little kid next to the other Lego. He couldn't resist saying no to you. Actually, you merely had to look at him. Not even ask him. And, heyyy!!! That girl lego could have been JimJimmers future partner. =P

After all those heavy debate threads I've been part of in the Bible Discussion and News forums, this thread feels so light and silly. I love it! Haha. It's a break.

Alright? She's alright? :/
I can still hear Rachel's voice calling you "macho man". Hahaha. Btw, Rachel, more than sports, Roamer loves to stay home and cook. He's a brilliant cook, especially when it comes to baking cakes and other desserts.

By the way, there really is such a movie. The Star Wars Holiday Special. Arguably the worst movie ever made. The whole thing is on youtube if you dare to watch it. It used to be a part of nerd cred to have watched it one time. Lucas would have liked to forget it ever happened, but alas for him, that show aired right when VHS recorders were hitting their stride and tens of thousands of people recorded it. He has been heard to say he would like to track every last copy down and destroy it.

Not sure if those were meant to be jokes.

And no, I did not mean to indirectly ask you where you live. You are over-analyzing my posts sister. :)

Well, if you're talking about Star Wars...

Which other Head of State would end his speech with "May the Force Be with You!"

It's not easy finding a Christian friend in the country we both live in. Our population is around 2%.

It's not even easy being a woman in this country. How can I even put into words -the day-to-day struggles, the nerve wracking experiences ?

So it's just so wonderful and so great to be presented with an opportunity to find another Christian woman, who knows her strength is grounded in God .

So far all my friends are unbelievers, except one, who gave his life to Christ about six months ago.

So my concern for this thread wasn't that it would be overcrowded with all the other loved up ones....but more because of it's voyeuristic nature. :)

It just felt like maybe I was making too much out of it... but you know what? It is. :)
It's a big deal and it's worth being very excited!

So thank you God and thank you guys for reading all this!

Peace Yo! <3
