I think this is a good topic for discussion: how to find God's will about a relationship when you're already emotionally involved?

When I have gotten myself in that situation I have prayed this way, "God, I'm willing to be willing." It sounds stupid, but basically what I'm doing is saying "God, I give you permission to adjust my thinking, behavior and will to yours..."

Be prepared when you pray this way because God will "take care" of the situation for his glory! Sometimes his ways are gentle, sometimes they are painful but every time God's actions are for his glory and have been merciful and mighty!

I believe God is very clear that we just ask. "you have not because you ask not" "seek and ye shall find" etc etc.

Due to the fact God created you and loves you beyond your imagination, I'm sure he knows how to speak to you even if you are emotionally invested in someone :)
