Inspired by Rachel's makeup thread, and the lovely ladies who were brave enough to post photos of themselves without a trace of makeup on their pretty faces...somebody has challenged the women of CC to create a thread for women to post pics of themselves with no makeup (at least, I think that's what happened...I dunno, I've like, slept since then and have forgotten who said what and when). I honestly don't know if I'm even doing it the way it was intended by whoever had the original idea.

Anyway...

I doubt this kind of thread will get too many participants...it's a scary thing to do.

So of course, I'm going for it.

Even though my chin is breaking out and the photos I took have captured a random strand of hair that appears to resent the rest of my head and is trying to escape.

Picture 1- Zero. Makeup. Picture 2- Eyeliner and mascara. Picture 3- Eyeliner, mascara, eyeshadow, lip gloss.
I so couldn't manage to make the same face for each one.

Here's tip for any other ladies posting.

If you see a, or just Perceive a blemish, spot or flaw... Don't Point It Out. I can't count the number of times a woman posts a pic and say 'oh i have this here and that there' and my response is 'oh, i didn't notice until you said something'. =P
You goobs.

Ps. I still hate meatloaf ... but I love puppies...
Pss. No worries I have no intentions of making this thread about my hatred for said food.

:) Good advice, Ugly!

One of the defining moments in my life regarding 'flaws' was when I was reading through Song of Solomon daily. When the Shulamite says, "I am dark, but lovely, oh sisters of Jerusalem" she is correctly viewing her flaws. Her skin was darkened due to her daily laboring in the fields, but she acknowledges it as something that doesn't take from her natural beauty, but rather enhances it. :)

I will take a makeup-free photo sometime this weekend and post it...or try to find one in the depths of my computer. :)

I don't really see a difference. I only noticed a little around the eyes after you had mentioned it, but that could be placebo too.

I posted a pic in the other forum. Though I'm probably going to take a different one later, with a better camera. Put it in an album, so once again, if I want, I can remove it. I just don't like the thought of, after 5 minutes, if I change my mind, I can't do a thing about it. Maybe I'll try to do a pic with some makeup.

I'll do one with a bigger contrast in a little while- where I'm more "done up" than I normally would be...like how I would do my makeup if I were going out or something.

Voila! I very rarely wear lots. Mostly I go around without any makeup, like the pic on the left. But if I decide to put forth effort, it usually looks like the pic on the top right. :)

We should do a CC calendar for 2014. The GIRLZ of CC!! WITH AND........WITHOUT!!!! I bet we'd sell a million of em. They won't be able to get the clear plastic off fast enough!

Then inside we'll blast them with a bible verse - something about lusting in January. Sin nature in February. It's no telling how many souls are saved by April!
