so. i know that people have different comfort levels with the people around them. family, friends, strangers.
and i was just thinking about the varying moral standards people have on physical touch. what feels wrong to you? and what feels like just good old fashioned lovins?
who is it right and wrong to cuddle with?

by the way. i want to clarify that i am asking those of us who are still single. obviously married folks are only gonna be cuddling with their spouses. what does fidelity look like to you? try to ignore the other post. i messed up. i'm sorry :D i shouldn't be so quick with the post button....

I picked strangers but not like total strangers. I know Ive gone to parties and ended up cuddling on the couch with people whose names i didnt know at first.

yeah. i would only cuddle with strangers i felt comfortable with. i wouldnt cuddle with just ANY stranger. i guess i should have made a few different options :) oh well.

I'm a very affectionate person, but I'm also pretty picky about who gets close enough for that. I picked in a relationship only.

i guess there's a couple things i was curious about here.
A) who do people feel it is appropriate to be even remotely intimate with

B- i forgot to include the options.
i would cuddle with a friend of the opposite gender if neither of us had romantic feelings.
i would cuddle with a friend of the opposite gender even if only one of us had romantic feelings.
i would cuddle with an ex
i would not cuddle with an ex

i guess this poll is a little incomplete :D oh well...

i've cuddled with guy friends, which landed me in the friend zone, so I don't do that anymore lol. Leave the cuddling to relationships.

This may derail the thread, so my apologies, but I cannot imagine cuddling with Jesus, its not congruent with my image of Jesus. It might be for some people and thats their personal image, but I never thought of him a cuddler at all. Is it okay to even say that I think it's unbiblical? Some of you might disagree. But i dunno, doesn't seem right to me. I always thought of him as a strong loving man (and God), courageous, not afraid to ruffle a few feathers, not always nice but good in every sense of the word, he told it how it is regardless of the consequences to promote change, for people to wake up and seek God, and know the truth. To show them the way to salvation.

cuddling sometimes leads to romantic entanglements. but not always....

and i think if Jesus has the heart of the Father, and the Father is love, then by definition love must cuddle :D haha but that's just me

Well, the easy way to solve that is by clicking the FB link in my sig, and friending me...then I wouldn't be a stalker, and I'd know your real name!! Lol ~_^

None of the above...like I said...I see cuddling as only to be done with a romantic partner. (girlfriend, fiance, spouse)

I wouldn't worry about it landing you in the friendzone... but that's my opinion lol. Ppl are dif I guess.
