Yeah but the main theme wasn't covered well at all. The plot didn't even try to cover the surface. It had holes you could stick a finger through.

True, but my understanding was that it was too long and they had to cut it, which was really difficult, and made it a bit of a stretch.

I must admit in almost 5 decades of life, I've never of heard of this female behavior before. So afraid of a creep, she hides herself.

Lol. This thread...
Not to sound overly feminist, but there were so many absurd statements in that first paragraph. Firstly, I'd like to point out that the OP is a male and he's the one that is terrified and hiding from female shape shifting demons, lol. It's not us weaker women who are so afraid of dating and timid.
