Even though I'm already 30, I still feel like a baby in many ways lol. I know I'm not ready for marriage yet. I would like to marry, but maybe in a few years. Perhaps that is why God has me single? I know that I don't make myself available to anyone and I don't really flirt or initiate conversations with guys. I keep to myself mostly.
Dont worry LittleMermaid. We will match you up on the other thread. I will get thinking of others in your age bracket.

The first five seals of Revelation were opened after that prophecy was given. Please see the Olivet Discourse.

As to over-crowding, there are vast tracts of land even now which remain uninhabited. Also, everyone wants to crowd into cities and few want to live in the rural areas.
I don't know what you are using those vast tracts of land for up there, but down here in Southwest Tennessee we are using it to grow food. All those people you don't think exist take a lot of food. That is the true cost of a population... Not room for housing, but room to grow the food to support them.

I will be honest. I am not trying to convince you. It is impossible to convince a conspiracy theorist, because he will always ignore everything that does not fit what he already believes. I just enjoy refuting conspiracy theories to see what the conspiracy theorists will come out with next. They always have something. When you said that line about government faking population reports to generate a false overpopulation crisis, it was so on!

I was thinking lately of all the men I dated and I realised one thing...none of them had sisters. I always thought the way a man treated his sister would indicate if he might make a good husband but if he had no sisters then how would he even know how to be around women? At first I though its weird, all the men either lost their dad or mum and had a single parent and they were either looking for someone to look after them, or thats why they either desperately wanted children and saw women as a way to have a family.

I think if these men already had sisters they would know what appopriate behaviour around women would look like but they didnt....

Lol! This reminds me of an episode of the Proud Family where Bobby takes a fruitcake and literally kicks it to the curb. And then sings while he's kicking it: "This ain't a fruitcake, it's the bottom-of-a-boot cake!"
I forgot about that show, i always liked how the smallest gross sister always had her hand out, even when she wasn't extorting people lol.

yea but they arent finding much because rubies are very hard to find. And also very expensive. Who can afford them?
The most expensive one is called the sunrise Ruby and sold at auction for $30 million to an anonymous bidder.

A virtuous woman's price is far above rubies....

Maybe this is meant to be a little cathartic, but what do you think is the reason God has you single in this season? Be honest with yourself. I often think people blame themselves for something awful they did and think God is punishing them with this single and sometimes lonely life, instead of it being a time to grow. Maybe even a time for ones heart to heal, since we often find ourselves too readily hopping into a new relationship.

And if you don’t know, that’s ok. I think with me God is working on me both in a big transition in my home life as well as career.
We are not single because of God we are single because we do not make the right choices and sow seeds for our love lives. Its not God.

People are single because of themselves mostly. Because of life choices and societal setup. But they're not wrong to be. No deal is always better than a bad deal. To sum up, God completes your life at the right time.

I alone know the plans I have for you, plans to bring you prosperity and not disaster, plans to bring about the future you hope for.

I would say I’m single right now because more of my disability to be honest. It’s hard for me to social, I worry I weird people out cause I can talk about what I know/my opinions for a long time, and I can sometimes still act immature. I know there are girls into Videogames, and I KNOW I’m a woman, but sometimes I worry cause I’m not into the nail painting or anything fashion. Like I want my clothes to match and I can sometimes have fun when clothes shopping with my mom, but I’m basically a T-shirt and jeans type person, if you get what I mean, lol.

But I know through God, he will give me the strength and the right direction when that “right man” appears, for God is in Control and he is good ^_^

N.Y.
I don't think God has anything to do with me being single. He gave me free will. I think that my own choices and behaviors are why I'm single. I should be allowing God to speak to me and lead me regardless of if I'm in a relationship or not.

Don't misunderstand me, I believe God is in every part of our lives-I just don't think He is anywhere near as concerned in pairing us up as we are in pairing up.
I guess at times it may seem this way..yet I am sure he is interested in all areas of our lives with equal interest...I mean if God would help me not miss my train inorder to get to work on time by making my train arrive 5 mins later that its scheduled time as giving me 2 mins to get on board....how much more would he also be interested in me being with someone special.God has saved me from some bad relationships over the years so he must have something in mind.

just personally, I chose to put myself in several 'toxic' relationships, 'very willingly' and they lasted for
how ever they lasted, but guess what? I had to PAY the PRICE, He didn't spare me, He taught me, and
after a very great while I started to 'catch-on', but OH', the (((PRICE))) I had to pay!!! but,
PRAISE GOD for His patience and un-ending Forgiveness!!!
other wise, I would just be a dying leaf-in-the-wind-of broken trusts...
MATT. 10:33.
But whosoever shall deny Me before men, him will I also deny before My Father which is in heaven.
this is the ultimate broken trust, when we chose to serve the world...

I am afraid to step outside my box. I want it my way of this perfect movie romance and that's not how life is. I have to put in the effort and rejection fear keeps me from doing that. I'm glad that God gives grace. It's not easy to put yourself out there.
