I'll add my thoughts here, even though the OP is now banned.
I remember a while ago I contributed to a thread talking about how male attendance at Church is lower than female and what are the reasons, and I think it's linked to this topic.
I'd say it's true to say for every 'second chance woman' there's a man out there as well, if it is taken as true that more women attend Church than men perhaps it's simply that the men are elsewhere in large numbers, and not neccesarily anywhere damaging to faith but simply going about things in their own way.
My first thought was honestly why does it matter, if these women are in Church then they're surely in the best place.
I'm sure in some Churches there are plenty of men in the same situation.
