What you called " having sex " out of marriage is called fornication and adultery in the Scriptures. Since fornication and adultery always happen in the worldly realm of " dating ", then yes you get unwanted pregnancies/STDs from " dating " !
Fornication ALWAYS happens in dating. (Haven't been married, so adultery is not possible.)
In continued reflection of my past, I can only recall ever fornicating with ONE of those six people.
BUT FORNICATION ALWAYS HAPPENS IN DATING.
Maybe I didn't actually didn't date those other five women. MAYBE MY WHOLE LIFE HAS BEEN A DREAM. I should jump off of a building. The falling should wake me up.
BECAUSE FORNICATION ALWAYS HAPPENS IN DATING.
Because, you know, all those hookers and gigolos that people call up...they are TOTALLY dating their clients.
And when random college students meet on the beach during spring break, do the no-pants-dance one time and never see each other again, that's totally dating.
And ADULTERY ALWAYS HAPPENS IN DATING!
Because King David totally dated the heck out Bathsheba before he made that happen. And Michel and her second husband totally dated like crazy before Saul passed over to him.
The solution, since learning about a person, and getting to know them, and LIKING them before you marry them is SO CLEARLY the lust of the flesh, according to the apostle John (1 Jn 2:16, right?), the only solution here is to marry someone you clearly dislike and find no pleasure in...because if you find ANY pleasure in your marriage, it's because it's of the world, and is lust of the flesh and eyes, and pride of life.
Oh man. My dad is ALWAYS telling people that's he's proud of me. NOW HE'S GOING TO HELL. It's so WORLDLY! He's PROUD OF SOMETHING IN HIS LIFE! Pray for my dad, guys. I know he prays all the time and reads his bible and totally tries to do Christlike things like loving unconditionally BUT HE'S PROUD OF THINGS IN HIS LIFE! He's so damned for this now.
Shall we keep going? Because, you know...this IS where we're headed. I mean, there IS a common sense element here, is there not?
