I feel bad I work so much.

Recently I get urges to drop everything & just be with God because I feel greatest on Sundays when I learn & feel closest to Him.

Are we okay just working & helping coworkers & people we "bump" into who need directions?

I just feel really anxious to serve God... but how do you do it on a job that takes a lot of your time? Should we avoid those? What do you do???

Honestly I feel really new at this so I'll keep praying & reading & studying.

Hii!!:)

Happy to hear the Loving Heart you have towards people and your Thirst to do God's will.

I would like to share few thoughts what i learned from the word of God.

Bible teaches us :

2 Thessalonians 3:7-14
For you yourselves know how you ought to follow us, for we were not disorderly among you; 8 nor did we eat anyone’s bread free of charge, but worked with labor and toil night and day, that we might not be a burden to any of you, 9 not because we do not have authority, but to make ourselves an example of how you should follow us.
10 For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone will not work, neither shall he eat. 11 For we hear that there are some who walk among you in a disorderly manner, not working at all, but are busybodies. 12 Now those who are such we command and exhort through our Lord Jesus Christ that they work in quietness and eat their own bread.

Paul as an Example:

Acts 18:2-4
And he found a certain Jew named Aquila, born in Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla and he came to them. 3 So, because he was of the same trade, he stayed with them and worked; for by occupation they were tentmakers. 4 And he reasoned in the synagogue every Sabbath, and persuaded both Jews and Greeks.
Paul did the Ministry and achieved Great things for the Lord But he also worked and it didnt affect his Ministry.

I humbly give my thoughts:

We see even when Adam was kept by God in the Garden of Eden to Enjoy all the goodness of Lord's creation, Adam was not exempted to work.
Genesis 2:15
Then the Lord God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to tend and keep it.

A Humble Testimony about me:
I work about 8 hours a day and the evenings i spend doing His Work (personal evangelism, helping poor and blind, counselling, composed nearly 100 Spiritual songs in my native language and sometimes preaching)

I Believe, We can do more Ministries when we go to a Job as we dont need to worry about our personal needs and also can use some of our own money to help poor christians for their food, medicines and education and also help small churches.

Hebrews 13:16
But do not forget to do good and to share, for with such sacrifices God is well pleased.

But yes, im also happy for the Servants of God who have committed their whole Life Time for the Ministry.

You need to take the decision by yourself how best you can serve the Lord.

GBU:)
