I have known a girl for a few years now, but never really talked to her until a few months back, when we started talking when we were both on youth band. She goes to my school, in the year below me. I am days away from finishing school. We also go to the same youth group and church. In the past few months we have become friends, and I have begun to like her. When I first began to have feelings for her, I prayed. I basically said "God, if you want me to be with her, please give me some sort of sign." A few minutes later I opened to a random page in my Bible. The first page I opened to, and the first section I looked at had this girls name in the title. I took this as the sign I was asking for.
However I have a slight dilemma. Due to me finishing school in a matter of days, I will be a leader at youth group next year. She will be youth still. I will probably begin leading in January, and plan to try and start a relationship with her earlier. However it still has me slightly confused.

Would it be wrong for me being a leader to be in a relationship with a girl who is in final year youth, and a year younger than myself? Thanks

Shouldn't be a problem. When i was 17 i introduced myself to a new girl at youth, where i was in leadership. I turned 18 shortly after, and she became 16 not much longer after that. We were fine. Even the youth pastor was encouraging me to ask her out haha.

While I would strongly warn against looking for signs in that way, the fact that you've been friends for so long and developed these feelings over time says to me that it's a good situation.
