We all know that we aren't promised tomorrow, but IF we could know when our last tomorrow would be, would you want to know? Why? Why not?

If so, would it change how you're living your life? Would it stay the same?
A client where I used to work was the head of a pancreatic cancer organization and her husband had pancreatic cancer. When he only had a few months to live he bought a brand new porsche because he had always wanted one. She said he loved it. He passed away shortly afterwards.

This is exactly the sort of situation I was thinking of. Mum had her cancer screening today and it’s also the anniversary of a death of someone very close to me. Both situations had me wondering whether I would want to know or if I could know, what would I do?

As a friend had mentioned, it’s much easier thinking about my death, than it is thinking about the death of someone I’m close to.

Thank you for sharing.

Thank you all for sharing. It’s always interesting to hear what you all think.

As I ponder it more and more, I think it would be nice to know. My priorities would change for sure.

I think I’d stress a lot less about the little things.

I’d be more bold in my sharing.

It does make me wonder, why can’t I change these things now??
Thank you for reminding me where my focus should be until He returns- on Him and reaching out to the lost...
If we seek first the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and everything else we need will be added...God has specific things He wants me to do, according to scripture, and it's easy sometimes for me to lose sight of this, in the battle. I am reminded to keep reading my Bible and to keep all the armour of God on sojen of in Ephesians 6, but also to get on with His work-looking for opportunities in my path to lead the lost to Him, 'for the night cometh when no man can work' ....

That's not all Jesus did: He begged God for a change of plan. It is a rather gaping oversight to omit that.
Not really as thats human nature to beg God for mercy upon threat of death. Im talking about AFTER youve accepted it.

People on here arent saying they are going to be bargaining with God about it. Abraham did when God was going to destroy Sodom and note that Jonah told Ninevah they had to get their act together in 40 days so they all repented in sackcloth and ashes.

it is natural to want to live longer.
