My ten year old self would be confused. My eleven year old self would probably smile and say "carry on."

My 10 year old self just called and offered me Reese's to do his math homework. I'm torn, because we hate homework, but we love Reese's. What to do?

What's hilarious is there's a family that goes to the same church I do when I'm at college and they have a little girl who's basically 10 year old me. Intelligent, mature homeschool child with insane amounts of knowledge that she randomly spouts when she likes you and is trying to impress you. Other kids are like, "Hey! Let's play cops and robbers!" and she's like, "I'm playing American Revolutionary soldiers. I'm an American spy." She's very much a sober but free spirit... but I can tell without any solid evidence she probably has a very dark side. It's hilarious... I can be entertaining the neighborhood kids and make eye contact with her and know that we have... an understanding.

Eat the Reese's, then tell the kid that you're not gonna do his work for him... Tell him that it's an important lesson he just learned: to not trust himself.

My 10 y/o self would be ticked that I've not been camping in years.
...but when told that I still read constantly, he'd understand.

I'd also tell him to make sure to not ever let that one thing happen. I wouldn't say what the 'one thing' was, though....give the boy a complex.

My ten year old self would be upset that we never found out what exactly happened to Arnold parents.

Or if Eddie McDowd ever turned back into a human!

I would tell my 10 year old self that any compliments you get will most likely be "meh"...

I would tell my 10 year old self that any friends worth your time are those who correct your grammar...

I would also tell my 10 year old self not to care so much about your appearance, food is better than a boyfriend. It is almost always fresh (or you can keep it in your pantry in case of disaster) and sometimes on sale.
