When we hear somebody say 'I had a revelation' we tend to assume that He/She saw the heavens open up and angels singing and flying all around
Well that too, is a revelation or should I say a vision, but I want to hammer on, is that revelations come in different forms, one form which I'm sure we've all come across, is a Still Small Voice speaking biblical truths in our minds and hearts
When I was younger(say 13/14years old) I used to think that I had to see in the spirit to have a revelation, but as I got older I realized that revelations come as teachings too,i could be doing the laundry and I hear a certain phrase in my mind, I talk about it with myself, and I realized that as I spoke more about it I got more knowledge about that particular topic
Why am I saying this?, a lot of us teens and even young adults have revelations that we don't acknowledge, we are waiting for that Big Bang that'll open the heavens up, but please we should be sensitive to the small and simple ones, I believe that when we appreciate, acknowledge the small simple ways of getting revelations from our Heavenly Father,He'll bless us with more heavenly and biblical truths

Hope everyone has a nice, wonderful and fulfilled day
God bless

I've never met, in 30 years involved with Christian's, anyone that believed revelations had to be the heavens opening up. I'm not sure where you got the idea that's what most people think.

Lol, where i am from, people understand having revelations has to be heavens opening up
But it's all about our point of views, I'm just saying we should all be sensitive to the voice of our Heavenly Father that's all

I think this is interesting. It dials down to trusting in God’s word, which I find inspiring. God’s word is true, and I find that I am always on a journey to learn wisdom. It is great to see that someone appreciates the little bits of wisdom, which is inspiring too. Maybe we all should trust God’s word?
