That is ridiculous. God never had a beginning, and is not in our time. All sin is equal. The consequences of sin are all the same. Yes murder is worse than a lying, according to society. But God sees heart and you can't serve two masters. A liar and murderer serve the same master and have the same consequences.

All sin is equal. Sin is the road to death and destruction. You can't sin and make it to heaven. A person has a choice between two masters. Jesus offers eternal life for those who follow his commandments and the devil offers sin. Sin leads to death no matter "how severe ".
