Where are all the catholics?
Were there ever any on here?
They're afraid to speak up for themselves.
They're too nice to deal with the people here.

But its ok. I'll protect them.
The muslims are coming.
We should stick together.

Yes Blue,
You, Magenta and Dcon made me feel soooooo welcome here.
You're soooooo sweet.
Thank you. If you weren't so two faced with your split tongue talking out of both sides of your mouth like you do above... but it is clearly seen for what it is: dishonesty... but you know it is your heresy we stand against and hate, not you personally, though you have been extremely nasty, even after you acted all friendly for whatever reason. Yet now you act like you received nothing friendly in return when you were being amenable, and not pushing your heresies? More of your dishonesty!

However, we stand on the Truth of God's Word, which YOU do NOT, and have nothing to fear. Not even your nastiness. When you stand on the truth of God's Word, you hate the falseness that stands against it, like the RCC that has deceived and turned so many away from the Truth.

The Bible says no person can say Jesus is Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.

No man comes to the Son unless the Father draws them.

Whoever confesses Jesus is the Christ is born of God.

Whoever believes Jesus Christ is come in flesh is of God.

Do not the Catholics believe these things.

But God said do not make an image of anything in heaven, including air like birds,or on earth,or in the sea,and bow down to it.

God said do not make an image of Him,and bow down, for you do not know what He looks like

This is a favorite accusation of heresy by Protestants - usually while they're erecting Nativity scenes or kneeling at the alter and bowing before a wood cross. I don't accuse a Protestant of worshiping these things because I know it represents an important part of the life of Christ and as such, worships God the Father and not the thing. The same is true of Catholics. Worshiping a graven image is a serious offence but worshiping God using remembrances isn't. Even God commanded statues and remembrances like the cherubim at Solomon's temple or the pole with the serpent during the plague of serpents - even in Ezekiel's dreams. Stained glass retells stories of the bible to children and those that can't read. Images of Saints, Mary and Christ are remembrances just like the table of remembrance some Protestants use during their communion. Catholics don't worship the marble or wood anymore than Protestants do. Alas though, I know that 15 minutes after i post this, somebody will accuse Catholics of it again.

Jesus was speaking to a crowd of people, and the disciples said,Jesus your mother and brethren are outside the crowd, desiring to speak to you,and Jesus said, who is My mother, and brethren, and pointed to His disciples and said, behold My mother, and brethren, for whoever does the will of My Father the same is my mother, brethren, and sisters.

Jesus was speaking to a crowd, and a woman spoke up and said basically, blessed is the mother who gave birth to you,and Jesus said, yea rather, blessed is he that hears the word of God and does it.

Jesus put Mary in the same boat as all the saints, and on an equal level, for we all have our labor, and God does not favor anyone for their labor above anyone else,as long as you do the labor God gives you.

They call Mary the Queen of heaven, and the Mother of God.

But Mary only gave birth to the man Christ Jesus, and it was God that caused the conception,so glory to God.

Also God is an ominpresent Spirit and cannot be born, and there is no part of God that can be born, for Jesus is God manifest in the flesh, and the Spirit in Christ is still connected to the omnipresent Spirit of God,for God cannot be separated.

The only way Mary can be the Mother of God is if she gave birth to the omnipresent Spirit of God,who never existed before that time, which we know is absurd.

The truth is Jesus is a visible manifestation of God,and the Spirit does not have to move.Jesus as a human does not have His own Spirit that moves along with Him,for the Spirit does not have to move, for the Spirit is already there, but the man Christ Jesus walks through the Spirit, and where ever He is the Spirit is there.Same as the saints, they do not have their own part of the Spirit that moves with them, but they walk through the Spirit, and where ever they are the Spirit is there.

When Jesus was in the womb of Mary,He had the Spirit that occupied that space, and when He came out of the womb,He had the Spirit that occupied the space outside of the womb. The Spirit did not move out of the womb with Jesus, for the Spirit does not have to move, for the Spirit is already there.

Now I know this is kind of a strange way to go about showing Mary is not the Mother of God,for it is truth anyway, but only the child Christ Jesus came out of the womb, the Spirit did not,for the Spirit is ominpresent and cannot be broken up to come out of the womb with the child Christ Jesus.

Mary is only the mother of the flesh.

What you're engaging in is called Nestorianism which is a claim that Mary didn't give birth to the unified Christ. That somehow the human nature was separate from the divine nature which was considered heresy by even Luther and Calvin. Women don't give birth to human natures, they give birth to persons, and the person Mary gave birth to was God. This is why Catholics refer to Mary as the mother of God. This does NOT MEAN that Mary is older or gave birth to the God that always has been and will be forever, but rather she carried the divinity of Jesus in her womb. This is why the Protestants had to accept the divine maternity of Christ.

They look at Mary, and reverence her,in a way that offends God,and He said,My glory I do not give to another.Jesus put her on the same level as all the saints,so why do they call her the Queen of heaven.

This is a serious offense.

I consider your loose and separate association of Jesus' Divine nature and human nature an offense because the personage of Christ sits on the right Hand of God this very day in body and in spirit. This is the reason Catholics have such issue with the prevention of birth and abortion. We're not killing the body - we're killing the person.

A man called Jesus, good Master, and Jesus said, why do you call Me good, there is only one good, and that is God.

Jesus said, call no man on earth your father,in a spiritual capacity, but only your heavenly Father.

But they call the Pope Holy Father,a double whammy.

Says he is the head of the Church, but Christ is the head of the Church.

Another serious offense.

The Bible says there is only one God,and one mediator between God and men,the man Christ Jesus.

People should not confess their sins to a priest to take to God,for Jesus is the mediator, not a priest, and not the Pope, and if a person takes their sins to a priest to take to God,it would seem as if their sins would not be forgiven, for they did not take them to God,but to a priest.

Jesus said all the saints are kings and priests unto God the Father, but the Catholic Church makes a priesthood that is special above the common saint.

Another serious offense.

And take in to consideration all the things they do in the Catholic Church that is not biblical, and serve no purpose for salvation, but a waste of time, and some serious wrong interpretations, and all the things they do that appear occultic.

It is obvious when the Roman Empire embraced Christianity, and the Bible, that they did not get rid of their religious ways, and only go by the Bible, but they held unto their religious ways, and dragged them in to the Bible, and it became their foundation for the interpretation of scriptures.

Joseph Smith did it too, with a belief not part of the Bible, and it became his foundation for the interpretation of scriptures.Scientology, same thing.Christain Science.Jehovah's witnesses.New age movement, and the movement that will cause the unifed religious system to come about, and many others that had a belief not part of the Bible, and it became their foundation for the interpretation of scriptures.

But there are many Catholics that do not want anything to do with the occult, and it appears innocent to them, but they do not know what really goes on in the Vatican, like the same with inner circles of the occult, that have an outer circle.

The Pope, and the Vatican, will become more public with the unifying of the religions, that the new age movement will be a part of that, but many Catholics will not follow their folly when it starts to happen.

I gotta go back to work, but I'm sure somebody else will try to answer these other things. Thanks.

Yes, and they all got banned. That's what happens when they spread their RCC heresies on here..
you mean to say this is not an ecumenical forum?
Does that mean we can't talk about and support the episcopal church either?
How about 7th Day Adventists?
Are they banned as well?

Then who is excepted?
Joel Osteen?
All those Word of Faith preachers?
Are they all banned too?

That sort of narrows things down to Baptists and a few others and that's it.
Am I missing something here?

Take it up with the site owner. He made a thread about catholicism and what is and is not tolerated here.. We're also not to debate on hyper grace either. Christians can TALK about catholicism, but when the RCC heresy starts getting going, that's usually when people get banned.

How can we help them when they get kicked off?
Doesn't that draw a bigger division between us?

Some persons here don't like ANYBODY who disagrees with them.
Some persons here should read the N.T. all over again and find out about how they're supposed to show God's love.

That's the thing with some who come here. They don't WANT to be helped. They just want to spread their heresy.. Catholics don't believe in or practice, much of what Christians do..

WHY don't you start ACTING like a Christian?
I am... reproving the works of darkness is something Christians do

Ephesians 5:11

And have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them

This goes back to a very dramatic scene at the region of Ceasarea Phillippi in Matthew 16: 13-19. This was a region ripe with false greek gods like the god of Pan and a place where the Roman Caesars were thought of as gods (as they did themselves). The symbolism was perfect when Christ questioned his apostles asking who they thought He was. Finally Simon - son of Jonah answered He was the Son of God, the Christ. Jesus then called him Peter and said upon this rock will His church be built, thus establishing Peter's papacy as leader of the other apostles. Jesus then gave him the keys to Hades and Heave with the authority to loose and bind.

When a person is renamed in the bible, it always means that a special purpose is taking place, a change- like when Abram or Jacobs or Saul's names were changed. Jesus chose the name Peter, which in Aramaic is Kepha which means "rock". So Peter's position was established above the apostles as the founder of the church and leader of the church. The Catholics believe that the spiritual descendants of Peter continue in this role of leadership. Thus, the papacy and the descending order of the church. The Pope is NOT worshiped anymore than a Protestant would worship their Pastor, but is considered (like the Pastor) as the final word on the spiritual direction of the church - where ever that might lead them.

Calling a Priest a father is an act of respect. Matthew 23:9 is always pointed out, but I don't think Jesus meant the words "no man should be called father" should be taken so literally given that the OT is chocked full of references of calling people of importance or even your own father by that name. In the NT there are various examples - Stephen referred to his father Abraham and Paul spoke of the father Issac. I think Jesus meant that our ultimate respect and the true One Who leads is our Father, God of Israel. Should we call a Doctor something else? Our dad isn't our father? Actually, I think the very word "father" would be extinct by now if this was something that should be taken literally. The word wouldn't exist.
