how am i not helping?
Preaching to him is not going to help; He probably has heard it all actions speak louder than words. And I'm going to be honest, the way your are acting isn't really going to help your testimony. Not trying to be rude just being honest so don't take offense. :)

wots wrong with the way i am acting?
i feel no wrong in at least try to convert an unbeliver to the Lord.
He may have heard everything but he wouldnt have heard how i preach - its rather unique actually and i have converted about 25 people in some of my classes.
There is nothing better i could do to serve the Lord imo. :D

Well, you are one of those people who thinks they are always right and I'm sure he's seen some of your posts and then you are telling him that your God is the best way and maybe he doesn't like the way you act and wouldn't want to serve your God. If that makes sense, same goes for me.

Honestly, nothing being done right now is affecting me negatively. I have debated with people FAR worse :)

I'm saying, raise them to be good, don't do bad things yadda yadda. When you think they are mature enough, give them choices.

What happened with me, I was catholic and raised in a catholic family. When I decided that I was Atheist, my mom flipped out on me. Now she's a bit better. If I were to EVER tell my grandparents, I'm pretty sure it would go over even worse.

btw, its true, me and Kath have been PM'ing

My parents were raised Lutheran and Catholic. I was baptized Catholic, and my parents made the choice before my first younger brother was born to change to the Lutheran church. Both of my parents are Christians first, denominational second, and all of their children have participated in multi-denominational Christian groups in college and high school.

I think you would be wise to study ephesians 4.
Many would say to be yoked with different denominations is being un-equally yoked.
This is a great failing in the body of Christ today, "if you are not of our camp then you are not of Christ"
I'm sorry but Jesus has chosen his church out of every tongue and nation, and to deny any one who's faith is based on a relationship with Christ is denying to see the body of Christ as it truly is.
We are made up of many parts and diversities of understanding but Christ works all in all.
Just my 2 cents
BBA= be blessed always
