Hello, my name is Courtney and I'm nineteen-years-old. This will be my first and last post in this forum, since I will be turning twenty in the next few weeks. I am looking for some Christian friends that will be there and support me through anything. I suffer with depression and other mental issues, and I really have no body to talk with. I am hoping that someone will comment or sends a message, because I really would love a friend.

That's asking a lot of complete strangers. Such relationships tend to be formed, naturally, over time and not by a request for volunteers to be on call for your needs.

And part of that is also you have no idea the quality of character of anyone that Does volunteer. Who knows what their motives are. Or their ability or qualifications to be of any Real help to you?
In my experience people are more likely to offer bad advice in such areas, because they aren't educated in it.

What you're seeking takes time and someone to prove themselves to you, as well as them seeing that you are not all take, but have something to offer them as a friend, as well.

Besides there is no reason why you can't post in the teens forum after you turn 20 ;)

Much like going to a college group at a church when you aren't 30 but have already graduated. Mostly just a guideline. The young adults forum is also an option.

There's no harm in getting to know people in multiple forums unless you are misrepresenting your age.

If things were really skewed, like a 40 year old married man going to a singles group at church or a female going to a guys bible study then we'd have a problem. Carry on. Hopefully you find some people you can connect with.
