OK. WELL FIRST OF ALL. IM NEW 2 THIS WEBSITE. SO HI :] ANYWAYS. MY NAME IS OMAR. I AM 19 YEARS OF AGE. I HAVE BEEN IN CHURCH ALMOST ALL MY LIFE, IN & OUT, BUT FINALLY SURRENDERED 2 GOD OVER A YEAR AGO. I GOT SAVED IN THE MINISTRY OF VICTORY OUTREACH (V.O.) WHEN I GOT SAVED I WAS JUST SO ON FIRE 4 GOD. I WAS IN THIS PLACE CALLED THE UTC (URBAN TRAINING CENTER) WHICH IS A BIBLE COLLEGE IN OUR MINISTRY FOR YOUNG PPL SO WE CAN GET EQUIPPED 4 MINISTRY, BUT I JUST WENT 2 MAKE MY MOMZ HAPPY BUT ENDED UP COMING HOME SAVED :D. BUT NOW IVE BEEN HOME 4 OVER 6 MONTHS. AND DONT GET ME WRONG, PPL IN MY MINISTRY LOVE GOD. BUT THERE IS JUST SO MANY THINGS THAT I DONT LIKE IN THIS MINISTRY. I DONT LIKE THE WAY IT IS OPERRATED AND HOW MANY OF THE LEADERS STILL HAVE A GANGSTER MENTALITY. THERE IS A MOTTO IN OUR CHURCH. " AS LONG AS UR LEADER DOESNT TELL U 2 SIN, THEN DO IT!) THIS IS PRETTY MUCH WHAT MY MINISTRY IS LIKE. I AM VERY YOUNG. I STILL WANT 2 DO MANY THINGS WITH THIS LIFE GOD HAS BLESSED ME WITH LIKE GOING 2 COLLEGE AND BEING SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE, OTHER THAN MINISTRY. BUT MY LEADERS ALWAYS PUT ME DOWN IVE TRIED OPENING UP 2 MY LEADERS BUT THEY ALWAYS TELL ME THAT I HAVE BEEN CALLED 2 THIS MINISTRY AND THAT THE DEVIL IS JUST LYING 2 ME SO I CAN LEAVE AND THEN LOSE MY SALVATION. I ADMIT I AM NOT PERFECT BUT I DO LOVE GOD! I DONT WANT TO STAY IN A MINISTRY THAT WILL KILL MY SPIRIT. SO WHAT DO U THINK? SHOULD I STICK IT OUT AND SEE WHAT GOD HAS 4 ME. MAYBE ITS JUST A SEASON. OR SHOULD I REALLY PRAY AND LEAVE 2 ANOTHER MINISTRY?

Dude if u can see that your leaders r misusing their authority then u should turn your back on them and turn to God. God wants us to His ministry but that doesnt mean He will stop u from going to college or being a successful person. Jesus learned about the world thats why he could communicate with the world. At this time of our life God molds us and we dont really start our own ministry; not this soon, cause we arent mature enough. We can only grow in Love of Christ and lay foundations to the future that God has stored for us. But remember rebellion is not always the way. We humans need to be under an authority in the world unless they misuse it. So good luck mate. :D bless u

Hi Omar! I don't know your leaders and your situation personally so i'm not able to give you a very objective answer but I'll try to help you.

Sometimes when we face problems with many people, we can find out that they are not the problem but the problem is inside of us. Maybe there's something that doesn't let you feel free to live this minister and God can work inside of you. I'm not going to categorically say that the problem is inside of you and is not the leadership but please consider this: Before giving up try to face this problem with God's help, it's easier to run in front of problems but i'm sure that facing this situations would be a mature response. There are no perfect ministries and no perfect people, but what makes things perfect is love. When we love with all our hearts, that love wins also most hard situasions. Then, if you see that you fought a lot but staying in this ministry doesn't give you peace, you can say that you made your best.. Then you can ask God if he has something different for your life.

Salvation cant be earned at all. The bible says:

We are saved by faith, not works: "God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God. Salvation is not a reward for the good things we have done, so none of us can boast about it. 10 For we are God’s masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things he planned for us long ago." (Eph. 2:8,9).

DO everything you do in prayers and see that no man dictates what you should do. Many people take Gods name in vain and impose their ideas. Seek Gods will in everything. Keep away from people who try to brainwash you..

Prayer:

I asked for strength, and God gave me difficulties to make me strong.

I asked for wisdom, and God gave me problems to solve.

I asked for prosperity, and God gave me brawn and brain to work.

I asked for courage, and God gave me dangers to overcome.

I asked for love, and God gave me troubled people to help.

I asked for favours, and God gave me opportunities.

I received nothing that I wanted.

I received everything that I needed.

My prayers were answered.
