Personally, Paramore has been my #1 favourite band for a year or two now. Ever since I had a listen to my sister's copy of Riot!, they have been a big favourite of mine and I have yet to tire of them so that's a good sign! :)

Anyways, if you have listened to them before you will have noticed some mentioning of His Holyness in their lyrics. What do you guys think of this? Would you call them a Christian band? I love them so much that I would honestly say they are, but what's your opinion?

Doesn't matter what we think, it matters if they are Christians, does it not? Do some research and see if they are.

I wouldn't say they are a "Christian band" so much as a "band of Christians" if you get my meaning. I have read interviews and stuff, and they are definitely Christian.

I found this in an interview

Because of your involvement with TWLOHA, it seems like a lot of people like to assume you are a Christian band, or at least heavily influenced by religion. Are you?

Hayley: We’re actually atheists. (laughs) No, personally, we believe in Jesus Christ.
Josh: We are Christian, but we’re not a Christian band. We’re just like everyone else, you know? We have our own beliefs.

http://www.absolutepunk.net/showthread.php?t=239981 The source. That's the only question regarding religion in the interview, though. I'm pretty sure I've seen videos on YouTube where they say more or less the same thing.

Their music is ok. I have their first(?) CD, All We Know Is Falling, and I like it.

I knew from the beginning that they were a Christian band buuut like flyleaf the secular world has embraced them leaving many people confused. just the other day my Christian picked up a magazine I have and had this funny look on her face and said 'I had no idea that Paramore was Christian' it goes to show how deeply many ppl look into music before they listen to it *face palm*

I don't think so...

I know christian bands that share the same stage with satanic/demonic bands..

That's totally right! I guess I'd like them whatever faith they were following. I've never really had a look into it, but I reckon that Paramore would not use God's name in their songs if they weren't Christians, in a way.

That's probably the proper way to describe them, I guess, given they don't sing songs of praise, exactly. ^^; I guess it was just "God" in the lyrics that interested me there.

That's good sourcing there! Don't you think it's cool, knowing that Paramore have Christian beliefs? It's something of a reminder that they could easily be good, well-meaning people like us. :)
Yep! All We Know Is Falling is there debut album. I like it too! What's your favourite song? Mine is... a lot of them. :3

I knooooow. Those high notes, ie. bridge in Conspiracy, second singing of pre-chorus in Oh Star, are absolutely... outstanding. :3
What's your fave song?
