I was asked before about why is it bad for a person to smoke or why shouldnt a person have pierciengs and what about tattoos? Well it is really bad to misuse our body with all the cocepts above because he said

" Don't you realize that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit, who lives in you and was given to you by God? You do not belong to yourself" (1 corinthians 6:9)

So what do you think?

Apart from scriptures. You need to keep your body healthy and safe, but the bible also say. God love everyone no matter whether they have tattoo, smoke, fat, super skinny, etc

Smoking is definitely wrong. People only do it because they are addicted to it or because they want to try it. Filling our lungs with smoke can never be good.

To me it doesn't even matter if smoking is a sin or not. It kills people. Period. It serves no purpose except addiction and disease.
Far as tat's and piercings, i think that is a personal decision between the individual and God. If you think one or both are wrong, then they are wrong for you, if you find them acceptable, then they are acceptable for you.

I know that Gods love for us is everlasting however we are with no doubt even people that have all of the above and I wrote this post not to wrong them or critisize the way they look or how they live their lives but simply because of the side effects of what comes out of this stuff such as smoking by time your body becomes addicted to them and then can lead you to bed rest.

as for tattoos , well I have a friend that wanted to have one of them but was unsure because she thought it might effect the way she look badly since she remembered the scripture.

Its all about sharing your opnion and your definitly right about gods love:D

what your saying is perfectly right and I second that , Just wanted people to be sure of what they decide or do without regrets , Knowing the consequences of their actions and all and if you feel thats all right then its all good .:D

I think the problem with tattoos and the reason I will never get one is because most people get them while they are young and regret it as they get older and older. Can you imagine having a tattoo somewhere where you later become wrinkly as a senior? Tattoos take laser surgery to remove and that isn't exactly inexpensive or pleasant either.

Piercings- Maybe one on each ear, but do you really need more? How many ear rings do you need on one ear? I personally do not have my ears pierced, and I don't intend to anytime soon. I don't see a point in putting any holes in yourself. Piercings in your belly button, tongue, and nose- why????? I know that all of these leave permanent bumps if you allow the hole to close, and can you really see yourself with a nose piercing at 80?

Smoking = NOT OK. If you think addiction, cancer, asthma, and a painful death are going to be good for you, kindly talk to someone sane. Thank you.

Well, piercing isn't a matter of 'need' at all. A lot of what humans choose to do with their appearance isn't 'needed'. Its generally more about doing the things we enjoy and like. You don't 'need' piercings at all, or any jewellery, or hairspray, mouse, makeup of any kind, hair braiding, to shave (yes this includes women), buying new clothes instead of thrift store clothes. But yet people, Christians, all over, do all of these things all the time. So there's a lot of things Christians do with their appearance that's not 'needed'.
