I am truly afraid of this world. It is truly frightening when a tragedy is lost on the world because of a person's race. I'm lost and so sad. I physically ache with my sorrow. I have been judged and criticize solely on the color of my sking and I feel that I can no longer believe in humanity. I need reassurance that not all is lost. Can someone give me anything?

You are not alone, this is the harshness in our world and lives. These things shape us it's a battled scarring. But Jesus doesn't care who you are and he's the only thing that matters. Love comes from him and we love because of him. Stay close to Jesus he is the only one who can make it better. He's the only one who can give you strength for another day. He's the only one who will love you for you. But don't fret God will bring people along our paths who are just as loving as him. God will let the sun shine down on you again. And in that moment you will forget the past, people's ignorances and in those moments you will forget their was ever a feet you couldn't attain to, reach or climb. Because God gives us that strength, that entitlement as a son and daughter of him. To live, love and learn. To forgive and forget and recompense yourself to love yourself. For you to be forgiven and not forgotten. When our mere existance seems to be fading fast. Know God's chances of leaving us or forsaking us he will never take. God is always there looking and watching out for you. Keep your mind on all his promises saith the Lord. His word is an anchor for your soul. When they persecute you count it all to the Glory of God. Meaning don't worry, don't be anxious to give up or give in. Count it all to the Glory of God. Because he will watch over you day and night. He will keep you under the shadow of his wings and raise up a banner amoung all the nations declaring his love for you....

Humanity is fallen and sinful. We are not supposed to believe in humanity. If that's what you've been doing, no wonder you feel the way you do. God tells us to put our faith in Him and His son, not in men.

Ugly pretty much summed it up. Though God tells us to be good, the world basically is evil. The good thing is, Jesus has overcome the world (!). It can get us down and get in our way, but if you remain in God, it cannot "capture" you, you belong to Him.

I've felt that before, one time a girl just ignored me after I said hi...I was interested in her and just wanted to get to know her... she barely even looked at me... and just walked away.

I honestly thought it was the color of my skin or idk

Anyways, your reassurance is this... your not alone and we know it's wrong because of God's word. There's hope in that not all of us agree with that kind of behavior and that God is there to shine light in the darkness so that we know right from wrong. There's hope ok so you just forgive the ones that hurt you and keep walking in God's word (hugs)

Remember the saying, life is what you make of it? This profound quote is also meant to remind you that life isn't what other people make it. That you have power of perception(To be the pessimist or the optimist), the power of choice(passive or active), the power of emotion(self taught with God's help), etc. When people say freedom is a lie because everything is corrupt and set up, it is for them. True freedom is to allow your heart to be free. That's how Karla Faye Tucker, a lady who got the death sentence, maintained her sanity, built her relationship with God, touched millions of lives, and felt immense joy even within the confinces of the Texas prison! Because life truly is what you make of it and God is always right there with you!

I've been through many life or death situations, had a friend commit suicide, almost lost my sister twice and now again, been called a delusional psychopath who believes in sky fairies, etc. A good relationship with God, good music, and good encounters can fill you with hope and motivate you. It can also remind you that you're not alone. Nobody has it easy! You can always be like MLK or many of the people who've been bullied and stand up for yourself and others who face the same problems you were forced to! Besides they're not really problems, they're obsticles! Problems need a solution when there isn't always one present. Obsticles can be overcome!

Sorry you experienced a hurtful thing, brother. There's a lot of wonderful people out there who appreciate you for just being you....find those people and ignore the comments of those not worthy to be called your friend.

People will let you down (even when they don't mean to) but there is One who loves you and will always stand by you....seek Him :).

you don't belonged to this world. You belong to heaven. I do have also a problem I cannot fit in because of my strong faith to GOD. Whatever I do GOD forbid me to do so cuz he loves me and I love him for that because i have restrictions in life.

I am hurting and have struggles because i loved GOD more. He is my model that's why i cannot love material, pleasure, money in this world. be still cuz our HOLY GOD is coming just pray to him earnestly with sincerity..

lots of love.....

what you feel now is less to what Jesus went through when he was being persecuted, so don't bother about those people judging and criticizing you. Jesus has overcome the world.

Just look straight forward to Jesus :) don't mind the world, it won't give you good news.

Not all people are that way. But you will find racist people everywhere. Just remember they are actually not the majority.

My best friend is Asian. My other good friend is black and from Africa. I prefer to be friends with people of various nationalities. They bring a lot of interesting ideas and I can learn a lot from their cultures.
