I cannot remember which one I memorized first, but I can DEFINITELY remember the first one I memorized, understood, and took to heart. Joshua 1:9 "Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; Do not be discouraged; for the Lord, your God, will be with you wherever you go.

That verse..... GAAAH... I just cannot describe how inspiring and amazing it is. It has helped me SO much.

Nice, i like this idea. I can HARDLY wait!! I am very partial to- I Corinthians 1:18 For the message of the Cross is Foolishness to those who are Perishing, BUT to Us who are being Saved, It Is The POWER of God. AMEN- it reminds me that there are those, who just dont get it, sadly enough. An offended Christian: is as useless as a soldier without his weapon. Gods Speed to you all

I memorised this verse through a church youthgroup, Ephesians 2: 8,9 and 10, 'For its by faith you have been saved through faith and this not from yorselves it is the gift of god, not by works so that no one can boast. For we are Gods, workmanship created in christ Jesus to do good works which God prepared in advance for us to do.' By the way we put to a song, it was easier to remember that way! :)
