Hi,there r many great reasons 2 believe in God.He created u,he loves u with no conditions,he wants 2 have a loving personal relationship with u,he died 4 u,so u could have eternal salvation and spend eternity with u.I could go on fore ever. But also remember satan, the devil wants 2 give all the untruthful reasons 2 keep u away from God.God is real, and satan is 2.Any reason u can come up with 2 believe that God doesnt exsist,is a lie from the devil.its tough at your age there are so many things comming down the pike that sound so appealing, but there false.Jesus who is God,stated the he is the only way, truth and life,no one comes 2 the Father except through him.Start praying and searching the Bible,it will give u many answers 2 your questions,Amen.I was once in your position, searching ,now Im a pastor,a miracle of God.GBU 2 Jesus and I love ya Peace John

ok as we all know nothing comes from nothing
we ourselves are not nothing so something outside of the nothing must have created us the world and everything else
does that makes sense?
that's some evidence of God

define what evidence is first off because there is probably more evidence than you think there is. Secondly why can't you question the Bible?

The best person to answer this question is G-d himself. If you are sincere and truly want to know then purposefully find a quiet place away from all distractions. Once in that place look up to the sky and ask if God is real reveal yourself to me. Then give time for the answer. It may come immediately, it may come shortly after. You will get that answer if you are sincere and truly seeking for unselfish purposes.

Some may tell you this is ridiculous but don't worry about them, just try it and see what happens.:)

Faith is believing in things not seen. It is not likely that God will come down like a fire- tornado to show himself because one of His creations doubts His existence. You have to look closer than that. Ask Him, and you will see. I cannot tell you what you should look for, because He is the one who knows you.

___

The Lord Appears to Elijah

And the word of the Lord came to him: “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

10 He replied, “I have been very zealous for the Lord God Almighty. The Israelites have rejected your covenant, torn down your altars, and put your prophets to death with the sword. I am the only one left, and now they are trying to kill me too.”

11The Lord said, “Go out and stand on the mountain in the presence of the Lord, for the Lord is about to pass by.

Then a great and powerful wind tore the mountains apart and shattered the rocks before the Lord,
but the Lord was not in the wind.

After the wind there was an earthquake,
but the Lord was not in the earthquake.

12
After the earthquake came a fire,
but the Lord was not in the fire.

And after the fire came a gentle whisper.
13 When Elijah heard it, he pulled his cloak over his face and went out and stood at the mouth of the cave.

Then a voice said to him, “What are you doing here, Elijah?”

you can always ask god to give you a promotion to wherever you work.... if you need it.
God chooses to answer on his own time.

Let me ask u another question.... why shouldn't u...think of it...do u think u miss sth...I asked myself too why i should believe and trust in him... and i can tell u.. i'm no fan of reading the bible... not cuz it is bad... more that i'm not a great bible Reader... but fact is- god is here... god loves u and God is real... thats a fact.. every peace of nature every bord..u.. everything reflects god... light sun...
now.. i wont force u to pray and wait.... but it wouldn't be a mistake at all...
God's exitence is not just proved by him writing u in the sky: hey it is me god- i'm real... no one expects that (But would be fun!! so if u ever see that! Take a pic!!)... but god can do everything...i believe he finds a way to make u notice... so i think u should just trust... and thats the hardest part...

Hey Matt, I agree with Jeshuvan - there are many reasons to believe in God and he listed a few of them. God created you, if He hadn't you, me, we all wouldn't be here. Look at things around you cars, houses, computers - someone made them they didn't just come into existence - the same as us. We have a creator, which is God. No one can force you into believing in God, it's a choice you have to make. I will tell you this though; "everyone will die someday, if I live a Godly life - saved, sanctified and filled with His spirit - leading people to Christ, and it turns out I'm wrong there is God and no life after death I will be remember as a good caring person, but if I'm right I'll have eternal life in heaven. Now flip the story, I don't believe in God, I'm "living it up", partying every night and doing worldly things. when I die if there is no God, then I be remember a someone who always got drunk, told lies, probably abused someone, ect. - but if there turns out that God is real, I'll be in hell burning up, trying to kill myself because of the pain but can't." My former youth pastor used to tell us "Eternity is a long time to be wrong." I hope you find the truth.
I hope this helps you, GodBless :)

There's 1 other thing I wanted to add, I see that people have answered your question saying to pray to God for him to show that he is God. in the Bible, Gideon done the exact same thing in Judges 6:36 - 40 it says, "36Gideon said to God, “If you will save Israel by my hand as you have promised— 37look, I will place a wool fleece on the threshing floor. If there is dew only on the fleece and all the ground is dry, then I will know that you will save Israel by my hand, as you said.” 38And that is what happened. Gideon rose early the next day; he squeezed the fleece and wrung out the dew—a bowlful of water. 39Then Gideon said to God, “Do not be angry with me. Let me make just one more request. Allow me one more test with the fleece, but this time make the fleece dry and let the ground be covered with dew.” 40That night God did so. Only the fleece was dry; all the ground was covered with dew."

How's your life going without knowing Him?
it's a matter of really "wanting" to know Him..

Part of the reason I believe in God, in addition to the personal experiences I've had over the years, is the fact that God makes sense out of a lot of things. Here are some things.

God makes sense of existence
As JJAC said, you don't get something out of nothing. You can't get a universe out of nothingness. Cause and effect just don't work that way. If something comes into existence, something must have caused it. Whatever caused the universe must have been able to exist outside of space and time, not made of matter or energy, and unchanging. It must have been incredibly powerful and intelligent to make a universe that life can exist in. The best explanation is God.

God makes sense of the universe
Quite honestly our universe just should not exist. There are many constants in our universe (unchanging values) that if changed ever so slightly, the universe would either be inhospitable to life, or non-existent altogether. Here is a table that shows what I mean. The odds are so incomprehensibly low that this is the result of pure chance that to suggest it "just happened" is worse than magic. The only two other possibilities are physical necessity (it "had to be this way") which remains unproven, or that it was designed by a mind. The best explanation is a mind, which we call God.

God makes sense of morals
Are there certain things that are right or wrong whether or not someone says so? If so then we must ask, where does that notion of "right and wrong" come from? Only a person can impose morals. This points to the existence of a God who has laid down morality for us.

God makes sense of Jesus
Jesus of Nazareth is not a made-up figure. Several ancient historians speak of him as a Jewish rabbi from Judea, considered God by his followers, who claimed to perform miracles. He later died on a cross and his tomb was eventually found empty. What's the best explanation of this? Many will say that the disciples stole the body. But this fails because every apostle ended up dying for this belief, whether by their own hands or as martyrs. And before then they spent decades under persecution and generally being disliked by many. Would you give up everything you have, endure hatred, then later die for what you knew to be a lie? Unlikely. The best explanation, in my opinion, is that Jesus was resurrected. And if this was the case, it points to a divine being, who Jesus called God, as the one who carried out the resurrection.

God makes sense of purpose and value
We all have an innate sense that we are valuable and have a purpose, and that those are present regardless of what others say. So if purpose and value don't come from other humans, where can it come from? It can only come from God.

You shouldn't feel like you have to. Religion is an option. If you feel it you feel it if you don't, you don't.

Maybe take a religions class at a local community college or read some books on the matter. Research. Look at other religions and look at Christianity and see if it makes sense. Try examining your beliefs from an outside perspective.

Why shouldn't you believe in God?
I think, with you asking these questions, something tick you off...
What's bothering you? What kinds of evidence are you really looking for?
Let's be more specific here...

Because it's easy to say that God created you and love you, but I'm not sure if that would satisfy that hole in you...

You're the only person who can answer that question buddy. Maybe the God you thought you knew isn't the same God as the real God you'd like to know?

Don't be afraid to struggle with God. Jacob did it ..

Israel - He who struggles with God.
