I play video games and I really enjoy playing them. I don't go crazy playing them all day every day but I do enjoy playing for an hour or two when I'm in the mood. I think playing video games is fine, my relationship with God hasn't changed because I play. In fact I never played video games before I was saved, I started playing them after. My father wants me to enjoy life, he doesn't want me to cut out everything that I enjoy. I wouldn't play anything that was demonically influenced like witch craft or torturous games. Keep your gaming clean. I will say too that breaking habits shouldn't be done by our own will but by Gods, people make things so much more difficult on themselves than they need too. We aren't "impressing" God by giving up all these things or becoming more Holy. When your born again your automatically walking in the light, you took on Jesus's righteousness when he died on that cross. Bottom line, it's not by your works that makes you any closer to God, you need to receive the revelation of how much He loves you . Hopefully you understand that.

Love you sweetie :)

Joseph Prince can teach you a lot.

I agree with Grace, video games are good in moderation. I think video games are a good way to exercise your brain and expand critical thinking, especially strategy games. Video games have not changed my relationship in God and sometimes it can influence my decisions in certain games.
