Some folks have. My pastor preaches against video games sometimes but I still play video games. Although I only play them with my wife now a couple of times a week.
When I see things like that spoke against, it's always followed with reasons. It's never just. "TV BAD MKAY"

I've never seen anyone say "Don't watch tv, mkay."
I've never attended a church where they said this (Thank God!), but I've met people who have had that experience in their church. A friend used to go to a very cult-ish church that preached tv, videogames, and some other things were of the devil. I'm pretty sure they had their reasons, but that doesn't make it okay. M'kay. :p

I've read that the Southern Baptist Convention Baptists are the only protestant denomination that doesn't ban Freemasons fron joining their church or holding any office. Any comments?
After living in the Deep South for some 15 years and coming down here I would have to say I noticed that the S Baptists churches are really big (10,000-30,000 members) and it is VERY common that people only do business with other S Baptist (or lie that you are one so you can get their business), and 2 the Good Ole Boy club is often two things Southern & S Baptist.

It is definitely different than the Northern Baptists that I grew up around. I have been told by a local whose Grandpa was both S Baptist and Freeman that many members of the KKK became Freemans because they had more protection from being prosecuted for their evils deeds back in the 50s so most of the KKK became masons to avoid legal problems. That's all just observation and word of mouth.

Maybe I just haven't come across it yet, but there's seemingly no church dress code in this Book.

Dont you read ur Bible quotation: in Adam you died to sin and old self but in Christ you live to righteousness and the new man that does not dance or listen to the worldly musics
