Abing, I think you should reconsider Joseph Prince. He's very dangerous and I'm afraid it will do a lot of harm to your soul. :(

PinkFlowers: I see to have heard of Mark Driscoll, but haven't read him at all.

Has he written other books, do you know?

Blessings.

Oh okay; I should have looked at your profile... Seems like there are lots of big churches in Singapore. Blessings.
As far as I know yeah, there's Hope, Every Nation, New Creation (where I go) and I guess a few more.

Thanks. Yeah I've reconsidered so many preachers before but really as long as what you hear takes/points you back to Jesus Christ and the Cross, then it's good for the soul. It's not the preacher anyway. If I'm really careful, I'm afraid I'll end up never listening to preachers at all. Lol. But thanks!

Yeah, he has written quite a few books! Religion Saves and Nine Other Misconceptions is the only one I have read. But other ones by him that I really want to read are Who Do You Think You Are, which is basically about who you are in Christ, and Real Marriage. He has written others but I am not sure what they are. I'm pretty sure he is also working on a new one currently. :]

Thanks; I was sure I had heard of him, but hadn't read much about him.

Blessings.

Table In The Presence by Lt. Carey Cash is a great read. I'm not sure if it's the type of book you'd be interested in, but I found it to be quite encouraging :)
