im not sure if this is the right place to ask for prayers but i could use some, ever since i was young i have dealt with a big fear of the end of the world. and i know the bible says that no man knows the day or the hour it will happen but with all the talk of may 21st and 2012 i have an overwhelming sence of fear. this may sound silly to some but living like this isnt fun. thanks to anyon who read this and sent prayers my way.

Listen... if the end of the world were to come today that would be a good thing. The return of Christ is a joyous occasion because He's come to love and save the world from it's corruption. We will be taken away from all the filth. Plus fear is an irrational emotion. If I have it, I drive it down as if it weren't there and hey, it actually does work to help :)

I have some verses for you "John 1:12 Yet to ALL who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God"

1 John 5:13 I write these things to you who believe in the name of the Son of God so that you may know that you have eternal life

John 5:24 I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. (That doesn't take much on our part does it? That's why it's so hard for many Christians to believe they are really saved and forgiven by God. But that's just the thing, God did all the hard part for us. Now it's up to us to begin to live up to the name we have already been given as Sons and daughters of the Most High. "But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for God’s own possession, that you may proclaim the excellence of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light" We are chosen, that is a decision of God. God is the choser of those who chose Him. And the only reason we love Him is because He first loved us. John 1:4-19
“I told you, and you don’t believe. The works that I do in my Father’s name, these testify about me. 10:26 But you don’t believe, because you are not of my sheep, as I told you. 10:27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me. 10:28 I give eternal life to them. They will never perish, and no one will snatch them out of my hand. 10:29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of my Father’s hand. 10:30 I and the Father are one.”

You must ask God for yourself if you are chosen to be in His kingdom. Either you are or you aren't. God did the work for humanity's forgiveness. Your sin was paid for with blood. The only thing left to do is take willingly the gift of eternal life offered. It's true that a true conversion has both faith and good deeds. Try looking up faith without works on google and see what comes up.
