I have physical Bibles I use at home. I am old enough to enjoy underlining and the feel of paper, and knowing just exactly where it is on the page that I found that great verse. I also use the blank pages in the back of my Bibles to jot down verses that stand out to me, for future reference.
But my physical Bible is big and heavy. Plus, I like to use my ESV, but sometimes contrast it with other versions. I always like to read a verse in the original language, and sometimes in German or French. I remember at one time actually lugging 3 Bibles to church with me, a few years back.
So it is really nice to have my Kindle and IPad and Biblegateway, so I can check various versions. I like it better when you could do a side by side comparison, not happy with the new format. Plus, with open wifi these days, you really don't need to use up expensive data. My Ipad and/or Kindle fit wonderfully in my purse.
I guess the most important thing is to keep reading the Bible, in whatever format works for you!
