The only thing that comes remotely close to scaring me are some of my dreams,..

Why? Because they always involve the past me, heaped in sin and immorality. And the scary part is the happiness and enjoyment. I wake up and remember the whole thing in detail and the only thing that I know is myself. Everything else has no attachment to something I encountered recently or in the past,..

So my only thought is does this mean something? Because I have these kind of dreams a lot and usually blow it off as meaningless.
I know dreams are a hard thing to interpret as meaningful or not, and I pray that The Lord helps me understand what it is.

So if this provokes your thought to comment, do be kind about it.
-I know a lot of users here who's words toward me I find to be careless and ill intended. It'd be much appreciated if you'd be sincere and gentle in how you present yourself to me, as I too am sincere and gentle.

Dreams are confusing and a lot of time what you think has meaning doesn't I have a recurring dream about a future world where gravity doesn't affect me:cool: I have it often and so vividly, but I doubt it means much. Then again dreams can be symbols, prayer would be my first thought. After that there are a lot of pastors who talk about symbolism in dreams check those out.

And if all else fails learn to control your dreams, I suffered from recurring nightmares until I learnt to control my sub-conscious, I don't remember how but meditation might help, not the asian hindu kind mind you. In the end I forced myself to confront the nightmares and stand without being afraid, from then they have stopped except for the occasional dream that hits me during stressfull times.

Thats about all the advice I can think of just remember trust in God.

The dreams probably are saying that your body is not happy that you have chosen to follow Jesus. This is understandable. Rom. 12:2 says that the mind must change, and this is so that the body will be changed by the choices the mind has made. But this takes time. You body is putting up a fight, it does not want to change. Many great followers of Jesus have had such battles. If you have decided not to go back to those past ways, the dreams are there simply to give you a chance to make certain that your body obeys your choices. Just stick to your choice to follow Jesus. Your body will give in to what you have chosen.

First thing pray about it, second don't focus so much on the dreams until you are sure it's from GOD, third if it is from GOD ask what it means and to show you how to deal with it and if not command them to stop in the Name of JESUS CHRIST with Authority. Read and study the Bible and draw closer to GOD, also seek counsel from leaders in your church be wise in who you reveal things to.

Blessings!!!!!!!

And thank you too ken. But I did not "choose" at all. It is God's will over mine. As Paul said "I do that which I do not want to do and I do not do that which I want to do". So ultimately, whatever happens, God will guide me through it and my faith will be strengthened[:

whenever something like this happens, when I don't know what it is that God is doing in my life, it comes to be a significant change in my life.

I used to have horrible dreams. I began to pray for Jesus to be Lord over my dreams, to visit me in my dreams, to guard my dreams, to protect me in my dreams. One night, I was having the worst dream ever. Even in the dream, while asleep, I was uncomfortable with the darkness therein.

Suddenly, God said, "Julie." That's it. That's all He said. But, He said it with authority. I was immediately ripped from that dream, pulled from it, to a new dream, another dream. The only way to describe it is to say that I was dreaming inside my dream and God woke me up, so that the whole spirit of the dream itself changed and the darkness fled. That, my precious friend, is the God we serve. :) He can do the same for you.

No I couldn't,.. His graceful love is far too powerful for anyone to turn away if He wills to give it.

My dreams are extremely vivid and lucid and sometimes also scare me but i've never put much thought in them outside of a hyperactive subconscious which considering the level of my imagination makes sense.
