Conception and Birth of Jesus

well the 14 generations thing i think is interesting. How the Lord thought ahead to space history like that. and how God deliberately included the genealogy to show that Yeshua was the RIGHTFUL heir to the throne of David. i dunno. i have loved for a while that Miriam and Joseph had no sexual union until after Yeshua was born. it's really cool bc Yeshua got to be in a completely pure vessel. untainted womb...so to speak. some people think that's a bit too graphic but i really like it.

Prove by the way you live that you have repented of your sins and turned to God. Don’t just say to each other, ‘We’re safe, for we are descendants of Abraham.’ That means nothing, for I tell you, God can create children of Abraham from these very stones. Mathew 3:8-9
I liked how the NLT translated it.

^_^ ehh we're all on at different times i am sure <3 yeah you're right. i do wonder how they took such confrontation. no one says things like that in our day and age. i guess i'm thinking about. why did God need a preparer. one to announce the Savior's arrival 'on the scene'

I heard all kings have heralds back then announcing their arrival as they traveled from place to place
Also John the Baptist was prophecies in the OT as well. His birth fulfilled prophecy.
