My bf and I do a lot of simple dates. The cutest thing I recall is we went to the ren fest and found a church there. We went inside and then he told me to close my eyes. When I opened my eyes he had a promise ring for me. <3

What about saving things that reminds you of what you did together, like museum tickets and such? And you can compile it all into an album one day.

Well it all depends, money is really no object if we're involved, the thing about going out is all in the detail: like doing something neat and different, I 'like taking them somewhere out of the ordinary and do something unique, if she's the artistic type I'd take her play painting a quick mural on a wall! ;D or doing my own funny narrative tour at the local art museum. if she's the athletic type I'd get her sweating by running around in the park playing tagg! (if she can keep up! ) or challenge her at a made up sport where you gotta use bats, balls, balloons and lots of running! (also great for contact ;) if she likes movies I would take her to the business district at night and find an awesome building, then climb to the rooftop and play a project a movie on a wall once we're on the roof, I'll have popcorn and everything! if she's the hyper type then I'll take her dancing on a DDR machine, you know that machine where you step to the arrows, its loads of fun when you dual play, and if I could I would hook it up to the stadium tv here it'd be better cos its huge!! if she's the romantic type then I'll take her for a walk on the beach, I can play and tease her as we run barefoot! xD then afterwards I could open some champagne and we could read a book out loud as we cuddle by the sunset. or take her waltz dancing at the local theater house where they play classical and orchestra all the time. if she's the shy type then I could take her walking in the city during the day just randomly going anywhere taking random meeting new people and checking out the in scene lol have lunch at a small coffee shop then go to one of those arts and crafts classes where you can make stuff in like an hour it be really nice, if she's and adventurer we could drive to a new random city and go exploring all day, it be awesome to find some coll places for fun and things to do ;D. as far as price goes it can be free or cost you a fortune, but like I mentioned before its all in the unique DETAIL. what I would do is check around the city first and see what the hot spots are, what places have fun activities or whatever, I would go n see where do local bands play live, or karaoke if she's into the music thing. talk to people ask around where the cool kids chill at xD it all depends on the situation, sometimes you can't plan somethings and being spontaneous can end up begin waaay more fun in the end! <3

hmm... from my experience.. women like something that unpredictable... Its should not always something big or expensive, but also can be something "little but sweet" can make them happy.. Listen what they say and care about small things that happen to her.. like notice her new haircut or giving advice about what she should wear, prepare a breakfast, or even something like just send I LOVE YOU text in her phone in the morning can brighten her day...

So for me, being romantic is being unpredictable and crazy.. hahahahahaa.. ^^

I'm an INFP based on that little personality test. It said that this type was the more romantized of all personalities. I'm inclined to agree. I often wondered why I had that stupid school girl notion of "love conquers all."

It wouldn't be hard for me to come up with a poem on a piece of contruction paper written in crayon for under 10 bucks. (depending on where I can find things cheap like that) But, I wouldn't mention the price as not to sound so cheesy with funds. But hopefully whatsherface or *insert name* will take note of that: It was the thought and time it took to come up with something that sounded original (poem-wise), along with actually making the blasted card.

Same thing with a song and a guitar. I wouldn't be hard for me to try to write up something. If you knew me, then you would know I suck at singing. But it wouldn't stop me from trying to make a song for the one I love.

I could probably find you a wild rose, and do my best to collect a hundred of them.

Christmas lights, home cooked meal, fullmoon, ect ect... Timing and setting.

I could be romantic. All I would need is some time to be.

Hmmm.....i wont put a price to be romantic ,its a value inside every single person for be creative, unique, unpredictable and sweet of course....as woman I love a man be (most the beloved) able make me happy with lil details like an unexpect date, song, card,a walking holding hands or lay somewhere feeling him right next to me, or just some sweet words whisper on my ears ,that let me know who much he feels for me,those things are most value than anything, for all the rest exist Master Card ;-), so just is need take some time to think and let the feelings make the rest...

Id vote for the last option. And not because of money.. Im not too rich and neither too poor. But as many ppl have said above romanticism has little to do with material stuff (I dont mean at all, coz Id exclude little material details that warm your heart aka a cute card with sweet heartfelt words, a little thoughtful gift etc..) But yeah, being romantic requires feelings first. And since we're at romanticism, Im a simple person who prefers walks on parks, beach, a little picnic and fun stuff to do which I believe do not require too much money to spend for.

If I really wanted an evening to be romantic, I'd cook a meal myself.

its the special little things that can make a moment romantic. I went to a concert with my bestfriend on the week of my birthday and later found out that he had emailed the band to try and ask them to wish me a happy birthday on the mic after they finished playing....sooooo sweet of him to do that. The band never did though :p

And little gifts as well. There was another concert i couldnt go to with him, he had bought two shirts from that and was wearing one the next day. i mentioned how i liked it, and then he said he would give it to me. And that he was gonna get one for me anyways cus he felt bad i couldnt go. Little gestures, sweet things really make for an amazing time to remember. :)

i cut and color my fiances hair, it gives us time together!

Whenever there is dew on the ground and we are going somewhere. I always carry her to the car, so she doesn't get her feet wet.

Really i would say though, the most romantic things you could ever do usually don't fall under the romantic category.

I know my angel HATES dishes, so i always try and get them done before she gets home from work so she doesn't have to deal with them. Or pick her up a coffee in the morning and take it to her work. Or just help her with just little stuff during the day.

I voted for the papa johns and redbox choice by the way, but i have spent well over 500 in one day on my fiance for it to be romantic. Just depends on the setting. money doesn't equal romance. It's usually a good way to destroy it.

Eating out is a nice treat, but I don't need to spend money all the time to have a good time. :)

My favorite kind of romantic date is just a simple walk through the woods with my BF, and an easy picnic of smoothie drinks and a couple of granola bars. ^_^ If it is a chilly day, we can get warm later by snuggling on the couch under a blanket and watch TV. :D

And some might roll their eyes at this, but we also do this silly tradition where we have "affectionate breaks" on the commercials, LOL. We'll be watching a show together sitting still like statues, then ...*commercial break starts*... we go for a big hug, kiss, snuggle bomb or tickle fight. See who can catch the other off guard first. :p He loves it when I can surprise him. Something about commercials to actually look forward to. ;) That to me is romantic, hehehe.
