Hi, Keira
It sounds like you're in a tough spot, but don't despair, because growth in Christ is a process. Don't expect to become perfect overnight, or anything (in fact, don't ever expect to become perfect, it's just something to strive for, with Jesus' help
). For most new Christians, God sort of slowly brings you along, and has you give up things that are getting in the way of a relationship with Him. If there are things in your life that you know you need to stop doing, then by all means, turn them over to Jesus, and ask Him to help you. I'm sure it's hard, especially at first, but I know that every time I have "surrendered" to Jesus something that I thought was important (like, wanting a husband, or a certain career), giving it up has brought me a lot of peace in the end. If you feel like you're doing some things that you shouldn't be doing, then give them up to Him! Cast all your care upon Him, for He careth for you........
