Well my friends and I were hanging around here at home last night and we stumbled upon the pictures I had on my last birthday. And that was the last birthday I had before I gave up my life to Christ...

It was a very raunchy birthday party with lots of alcohol and gosh... a stripper, and it looked more like a bachelorette party.

Don't get me wrong... I have repented this and made a covenant never to go there again. I am just wondering is it bad if I reminisce about the good times we had that day? I mean when we talk about it we laugh about how some of us well... fell down on their faces and how the stripper shocked us?

I am sorry about this post. Just cause of course not that I don't regret it... I just dwell on the happiness of that day but not the revelry :)

Phillipians 4:8 is a good guage I'd say. "Finally, brothers, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable--if anything is excellent or praiseworthy--think about such things." Joy and love btwn friends is good, but having strippers isn't. I'll give you a couple more verses I found.

It might be helpful to understand the lesson behind Genesis 19:26. "But Lot's wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt." It is assumed she regretted leaving the sentual pleasures of that sexually immoral place of dwelling.

Phillipians 3:13 says, "Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead"

Well Brandon has said most of what I wanted to say, I just wanted to add on. We are urged a lot of times in the letters to get our minds and actions straight, the enemy trys to get us back to sin by feeding us little bits of our old lives in older to tempt us into sin again. The bible tells in 1 Thessalonians 5 to abstain from every form of evil, even if it be a memory. God bless
