Oh wow. I don't think we had that in the USA. Or maybe we were just too rich to have to do that. I do remember VHS and cassette tapes and radio theatre, though.

yeah. We had (I think we still have actually) a one hour radio program for kids on Saturdays.

Books and audio is way more fun than movies.
