The Lord will only shame him up if he knows that what he is doing is wrong.. When you have a relationship with the Lord he meets you where you are at.. and if he truly does not believe what he is doing is wrong then the Lord will show him the Truth in his timing when his relationship with the Lord becomes stronger!! The Lord always meets you where you are at!
You put it best and very eloquently too. God does not wait for you to get to a certain point before you are 'worthy' he meets you where you are regardless of where you are

PREPARE YOURSELF SPIRITUALLY - “Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you? … The temple of God is holy, which temple ye are” (1 Corinthians 3:16–17).

Just as you treat temples (AKA CHURCH) with respect, you should treat your body with respect. You can do this by dressing modestly, and by keeping your body clean. You should also keep your heart and mind clean by reading, listening to, and watching only “things that are pleasing to Heavenly Father”

[h=3]Galatians 5:19-21[/h] Now the works of the flesh are evident: sexual immorality, impurity, sensuality, idolatry, sorcery, enmity, strife, jealousy, fits of anger, rivalries, dissensions, divisions, envy, drunkenness, orgies, and things like these. I warn you, as I warned you before, that those who do such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

I agree that it's wrong. It is putting you out of your state of mind. He is more likely to sin while under the influence and that is not right. God "giving us all the plants" doesn't mean we should do anything we want with them... If that were true we could say "God gave us the plants" as justification for eating poisonous plants. So I don't think there's much justification for giving in to the flesh and smoking weed which puts him out of his mind.

I think you should tell your husband that you are withdrawing from sunday school until he decides to quit. There could be damage to the Kingdom if he is busted while serving as a leader of teens.

How someone as u say is truly and totally sold out 2 God got involved with someone who might not even be saved,is beyond me.But u need 2 pray immensly for him,go on totally living 4 God, binding this attack.Your war is not against your husband its against satan.U r his covering, but if the unbeliever wants 2 go,let them.It is not as a sold out 2 Jesus, born again believer 2 drink either, that statement is not from God.GBU John.I also will pray 4 u both.Even if the drinking is in moderation.
