How long can you hold up your Smile?
Can you Smile during life's hard challenges?
Examples: In the court room, with an eviction notice, getting arrested (innocent or guilty), getting road raged on, random confrontations, ran out of gas, unruly children, etc.

The list can continue on and on. Does anyone care to share any general issues that many of us face that we can challenge ourselves to remember to Smile during the experience? There's plenty more.

Here's a cool song to have fun with this Powerful concept.

It can be really hard to smile through hard times, and I also believe it's ok to embrace the fact that we all have negative emotions sometimes. It makes us human.
But trying to stay positive and having faith through hard times can help us get through it!

that's what i preach to people. smiling is a great healer. you can use it to forsake problems, get yourself in a joyous mood, train yourself to a more productive response to adversity & to adjust your attitude & personality. very nice ISHAH.

Biblical Perspective:

1.) The Bible doesn't tell us to smile all the time.

2.) The Bible says there is a time for all things... a time to laugh, and a time to cry etc..

3.) The Bible says we should be "genuine", not fake... so going around being "fake happy", like we're artificial... would be a problem.
- The word integrity actually means to be genuine, not fake, and we are to be people of integrity.

4.) Now, if smiling makes you feel better, or if you need to smile to cheer other people up, or make them feel welcome... those are all good intentions, so no harm. Smiling at other people can make them feel accepted, and welcomed... that's a good thing... as long as it's sincere.

Conclusion:
a.) This sounds precariously close to the concept of "manifesting" which is a New Age practice, and something we should keep away from.
b.) Smiling however is a great thing, and as long as it's genuine, it can make others feel warm and welcomed.
c.) But we aren't commanded to smile all the time, or smile for no reason, and there are good times and reasons to express all of our other emotions.
d.) We are also told not to be fake or artificial... but to be genuine people.
e.) I think the BIBLICAL SOLUTION would be to change our actual attitude, genuinely rethink our internal attitude, and let that have it's natural consequence... rather than pasting on a fake smile.

Hope you all have a great week.
