Nobody today will be condemned or go to hell because of sin, for JESUS CHRIST was already condemned for our sins; HE paid the full penalty for sin. Therefore, the primary reason people will go to hell is unbelief; it’s for not believing and accepting GOD’S Testimony of HIS SON. It’s for rejecting GOD’S Love which HE demonstrated in the sacrifice of HIS SON, for the propitiation of our sins.
For it is written, “For GOD so loved the world, that HE gave HIS only begotten SON, that whosoever believeth in HIM should not perish, but have everlasting life. For GOD sent the SON into the world, not to condemn the world, but that the world might be saved through HIM. He who believes in HIM is not condemned; he who does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only SON of GOD (John 3:16-18).”
Again, it is written, “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my WORD and believes HIM who sent ME, has eternal life; he does not come into judgment, but has passed from death to life (John 5:24)”.
So, you can clearly see and understand that people will go to hell today because they do not believe in JESUS CHRIST the SON of GOD. And if you say, you believe in JESUS then you will do HIS WORD. Those who don’t believe in JESUS don’t do HIS WORD. For JESUS said, “Truly, truly, I say to you, if any one keeps my WORD, he will never see death (John 8:51).”
JESUS CHRIST did it all. Believe in HIM and be saved.
