I was listening to a Christian radio program today (I often listen to). They were talking about spiritual battle and how become equipped with spiritual armor... I understand that as a Christine you should walk the live and set an example of what a "Real" Christine is...I live with my boyfriend, is that considered wrong?

From a Christian perspective, the majority do consider it wrong, while a few others do not (they'd most likely state that as long as you're not engaging in premarital sex, then all is good).

From a worldly perspective, that is average and normal (you can see where this mirrors the less frequented Christian perspective; tells you a lot).

I do not think it wise a Christian lives with their boyfriend or girlfriend. As Christians we are instructed to live a life holy and pleasing to God. People assume if you are living together then you are having premarital sex which is against the word of God. If you aren't having sex you are certainly placing yourself in a situation where you might.

God wants marriage. I think if you and your boyfriend are living together in hopes of pursuing marriage but not having premarital sex, it's okay. I would want to know that my boyfriend is responsible in paying bills, cleaning up after himself, etc. before we got married. Hope this helps :)

Living with someone will only show you what they are like at that point in their lives. Ten years...Twenty years....etc go bye there will be changes. I don't believe there is reasonable Christian arguments for living with a boyfriend or girlfriend. Instead you are inviting sin to rule the relationship.

Honestly, I'm going to have to stand firm on this one. The Bible tells us that our flesh is weak and that certainly is a tempting situation for any couple. Plus, you should consider there the example you're setting for unsaved friends who might get the wrong idea.
