I will, I never said I was going to change what I did.
Cool deal. Just don't act as a stumbling block for someone else. If they lack your superior discernment and superhuman ability to not be affected by the things around them, then please don't encourage them to go clubbing or have just a couple drinks.

Please don't try to patronize me or make me look stupid. I wouldn't call not being affected superhuman, I would call it being so grounded in Christ I just don't notice what everyone else is doing.

Having spent a few days on here I have noticed that others have much more(for want of a better word) extreme views on things than mine. So I wanted to pose a question.....what do you think about going out clubbing? Having a dance and a drink etc
Why aren't you going to bible study night???

As far as I can tell, it's superhuman. According to science, it's superhuman.

We are affected by the things around us and the things we consume, whether it's food, music or atmosphere.

Being grounded in Christ is a wonderful thing, but I have never been under the impression that this makes us completely blind or even impervious to the world around us. Quite the opposite, actually.

That is your opinion, not mine. I do dance at church. I also dance in the club. the reason....the music is different. I think you need to go out and experience some stuff, your comments about clubbing show me you haven't been.
The music is different, that's exactly the POINT!!!!.. One glorifies God, the other does not. God gave you those legs you dance with, God gave you that body you shake while dancing!!!!.. Use it for him.. And i don't have to go to club to know they play very terrible musics about sex and bla bla bla.. That they glorify the Devil!. I don't need to go there to know that ppl smoke there and commit all sort of immoralities.. And i'm NOT having any *EXPERIENCE*.. It's NOT meant to be!!!!

you adulterers and adulteresses, don't you know that friendship with the world is enmity with God? whoever is a friend to the world is an enemy of God.

Not really. I haven't seen anything to really change my opinion so therefor in that sense it is. I just wanted to know what people thought.

Whatever you do or choose to believe, you should stand by them because we are our choices.

correct me if I am wrong, but it sounds like you are saying- Whatever we do or choose to believe we should stand by it no matter what. But what if we are wrong? should we not admit we are wrong and learn from our mistakes? should we blindly plod forward regardless of the evidence?

Sounds very... "Do as thou wilt, shall be the whole of the law"ish...

Is that what you're trying to convey?
