Our language is based on our understanding. You speak according to what you know and you can only know what you’ve been informed of. Your decisions are based on what information you have.
Now, the question is, “Where is your information coming from? Or who informed you?

My dear, when you are informed by the world or when your information comes from the world and you fail to examine it in the light of GOD’S Word; you will speak like the world and do things like the world but when you are informed by the Word of GOD in the Bible, you speak according to the Word and you walk according to the Word. Everything you do is based on your understanding or perception of your personality.

My dear, let the Word of GOD which created you and everything in the universe inform you. Let it be your source of information and your all. Depend only on the Word. Rely only on the Word and it will change you from an ordinary person to an exceptional person.

The Word of GOD will show you the insight into the mystery and secret of life. The more you know the Word; the more you know about life, the more you know about yourself, the more you know about others and the more you know about the world you live in.

So you can see why it’s so important to know what GOD says about us in HIS Word. For the Word of GOD is GOD.
Thank You LORD JESUS for Your Word today.

Doesn't our understanding of the Word come full circle to the understanding passed onto us by mankind? Can there be any exclusive, intrinsic knowledge without first the knowledge the world endows us with (e.g., language)?

Let the Word of GOD inform us. Whatever you see or hear, examine it in the light of GOD'S WORD. Anything contrary to the WORD of GOD is evil.
All glory to GOD through JESUS our LORD.

Our source should be God
... but we do need some information from "the world" in order to learn about God.

You need to learn a language to be taught about the bible
Knowing how to read makes it easier to study the bible yourself
Knowledge about history makes it easier to understand the bible
Knowledge about culture makes it easier to share the gospel

I find I do need to rely on the world. The world as in other people.
I read the bible and pray.. Just sometimes I have questions. I work through verses and sometimes get suck. If I have questions or I do not understand something, I seek advice. But I don't just ask the first stranger I see. I ask people whom I know have done bible studies e.g. a pastor, a bible scholar. Interpreting the word by oneself is where all the denominations come from, right?
