amazing how people will latch onto something and then take off with it not really knowing they themselves are deceived, sound reason rejects such as notion of a flat earth... just basic common sense makes this notion both idiotic and a waste of time... much prayer is needed and perhaps fasting, this type of deceptive spirit has roamed the earth for a very long time searching for those who refuse to Humble themselves and yield to the Fathers wisdom...

gravity always points towards the center of the earth. local "level" is always local "level" no matter that "level" a mile away is at a slight angle. and even a hundreds-of-miles-long wall is built with single bricks, none of which is long enough to care about the curvature of the enormous globe, and even a hundreds-of-miles-long bridge is built in sections, none of which are long enough for the curvature of the earth to matter.
now ask yourself why the engineers who design skyscrapers have to take the coriolis force into account?
why do airlines and pilots take the direction of flight - with the rotation or against the rotation - into account when they decide how much fuel they need to make a long flight?

there is a word for "disc" in Hebrew and it is not the word Isaiah chose. the 2-d projection of a globe is a circle. a globe is therefore "circular" in geometric nature. the truth is not inconsistent with scripture, but your view is, and your view is inconsistent also with reality and observation and physics.
