Yep, just look at what we did with the mujahadeen in the 80's. We funded and some would say we created them to fight the Russians. Did we know what the majahadeen would morph into 20-30 years later?? Maybe, maybe not. But there are unintended consequences with everything we do it seems.
It makes sense if it turns out to be true. How many trillions of dollars stand to be made from the arms sales alone to all sides?
$700 for an AK, $900 for an M4, $2000 for an RPGs, $100 for the grenade for the RPGs, $25,000 for unarmored humvee, $500,000 for an MRAP, God only knows how much for a Helicopter, jet, JDAM, Tanks, APCs, body armor and bullets to go along with all of the weapon systems.
it should be pointed out though that when they say the u.s. Is funding Isis they are referring to the intelligence/banking community who benefit financially and politically from prolonged conflict. Generally we as Americans aren't well informed in the least, we still rely on the big news networks to inform us of what the "truth" is. But more and more people are realizing the media has lied over, and over, and over, and over, and over and over again. So we are Finally looking for alternative news sources. Take prisonplanet.com for example, their would be no need for such a site if the "mainstream media" was honest. But now even if the mainstream media tells is the truth we still question it. We've devolved into something awful as a country, but luckily we are still THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, and we can turn this ship around at anytime, as long as we're able to take an honest look at things that have been done in our name all over the world. If were able to come to terms with things like gulf of Tonkin/Vietnam war, and CIA over through in Iran in 1953, and realize things were done in our name, covertly all over the world so a small group of rich "elites" could benefit. We sacrifice our sons and daughters and the richest men in the world benefit from our misery.
It's up to each individual to ask god for the discernment and to seek for the truth. Cognitive dissonance is no longer an excuse. If we want to stay a great country we need to humble ourselves.
