I want to sleep but I just can't.

I keep thinking of all the ways Christians tend to be even worse than unbelievers.

Those thousands of kids, abused by over 300 priests… And all of it was covered up…

I don't want these people to just repent. I want them to BEG and PLEAD to both God and their victims for their LIVES!!! I want them to feel a thousand tons of PAIN!!! I want them feel the full force of the evil of their sin, feel it until they literally BEG for MERCY!!!

I'm dead serious! Jesus said that those who harm kids would be better of DROWNED and DEAD!!!

And if they don't repent…I hope that when Judgment Day comes, that they will FRY. I hope they BURN! I hope they ROT in HELL! I hope they feel the full force of God's WRATH and HELLFIRE ad infinitum!!!

Stuff like this, knowing that Christians truly are no different, and are in fact worse, than unbelievers, and being powerless to do anything about it.

That makes me ANGRY! It makes me FURIOUS! It fills me with RAGE! And I don't care if I'm "bashing" the church or any overly sensitive nonsense. It's not MY fault that the truth is UGLY as EFF!!!

I don't call myself a Christian anymore. I'm not ashamed of Christ, but I am ASHAMED, I am DISGUSTED by those who claim the same allegiance to my God!
I can relate to this.

I was a child abuse investigator for a local law enforcement agency, for years.

Guess what I want to do, if I wasn't on the proper side of law?

I've read long ago that girls who don't allow themselves to get angry are more likely to be abused.

Abuse is almost a cultural thing. It gets passed down through the generations.

It's because we want to apply blame to something else. The person's upbringing for example. After all, people couldn't possibly do terrible things with no remorse, if not getting joy out of it.

Yeah, cause abusers are almost never abused when they were younger.

that is clearly sarcastic, they are desperately crying for help, and their desire is so consuming, that when they abuse, they are thrilled by it as if vindictively as if a small glimpse of vengeance against what happened against them to the past, the thrill of relief to them

That makes no sense. Nor is it an excuse. And there are people in this world who simply have no conscience.

You can spin any way you want. Abusers must be permanently removed from society.

People with mental illness already have a stigma on them. People who purposefully abuse kids can be very smart about covering it up. Clearly, they're not mentally ill.

I forgot my quote about mental illness......

Oh yeah here it comes:
People with mental illness are the people who never gave up on doing their best. They had a reputation and they want to complete it. ⭐️

All this said, if someone for unknown reasons is experiencing an inclination like this toward children, they need to tell someone. I read about this. A particular person who found that he felt this way toward kids 'cause he didn't feel emotionally safe around adults. But he didn't tell anyone for awhile because pedophiles are absolutely reviled. My point is, he knew this was wrong and reached out for help. He was genuinely trying to do better.

Really, the church should be a place where NOTHING is taboo to discuss.

Let me tell you what a pedophile is.

You know a normal man, he desires to make love to a woman who responds in kind, and gazes upon him with admiration. it drives him to his woman, and motivates him to do great things, for her comfort and survival. It consumes a great amount of his thoughts. It is his nature.

A pedophile has that same drive, except for a kid. It can't be reasoned away. The biggest difference is he cares not for his prey. A child could never admire he who destroys them like that, and the pedophile doesn't care. It is in his nature.

I'm glad he confessed. He still can't be trusted in society.
