I don't trust him or Zelinsky either.
I just appreciated that Tucker was the only American media guy to try to do what he could to open communication and gain peace.

I've had people ghost me without so much as communicating why they had a conflict at the start.
Then they call themselves my friend.
That doesn't work on the personal level OR on the international presidential level.
Biden refused to talk to Putin, but escalated everything to WW3 style warfare.
Leaders and friends who will not communicate are doomed for failure.

Trump got in touch with both presidents, if I understand correctly, and is trying to prevent inevitable World War 3.
My problem with Mr Trump, JD Vance and others is that they are extremely casual with the truth. Mr Trump claimed that Mr Zelensky had a 4% approval rating. It was 50%. Somehow, Mr Trump blamed Mr Zelensky for starting the war. That is patently absurd. Mr Trump wants to emulate Putin and take over Greenland by force. Really? Attack an ally in Denmark, a NATO country? There is something desperately wrong about all this.

Threats of WW3 are rubbish. Putin has drawn so many red lines that he's running out of ink.

The only good thing to come out of all this is that Europe has been forced to do the right thing and build up their military. It's not that good for America. Europe is turning its back on American hardware in favour of home grown weaponry. Mr Trump is winding back 75 years or so of alliances and isolating America from the rest of the world. That's his right, of course. Is it a good idea? Time will tell. However, I can't imagine too many countries supporting America in their next military misadventure.

And now there is intel saying that the war in Ukraine is turning around again. Been very quiet about Russian advances lately. Russia is running out of both weapons and cannon fodder.

Having that said. Our intel has been wrong before. Until February 2022 we thought Russia had a well organized and powerful military.

Susana, what's the word on the street about Russians hacking our elections again for which we have no IDs?

The real problem here is that ordinary Americans, like myself, are losing faith in the system. That’s on both sides of the aisle. Both parties are in oblivion of our lives. They are lying every time their lips are moving. They’re creating themselves a massive mess and have been for a long time now.

Biden, Trump and etc are just symptoms of the failure of governance. A healthy electorate would never be voting them into office.

But as a frequent cruise customer you know a thing or two because you've seen a thing or two right?
Despite all of the mess in USA, it's still better than most places in the world, right?
That's why i see doctors at my job come in from most of Europe to do their residency and training here. Why? Because this is where you get the most money!
You think bureaucracy here is bad? Try dealing with government channels in Greece, Italy or Albania.
Good luck!

Who supported the U.S. military and when?

Australia for one. In every conflict since WW2, including the Vietnam debacle. The UK was in Iraq, twice. Even Ukraine sent some military help to the US military. Many European nations contributed to America's wars. New Zealand and Canada likewise

Other nations include Belgium, Denmark, France, Greece, Italy, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Spain and Turkey. South Korea and Japan have assisted in some ways also.

Many of these countries suffered military casualties. It's fairly obvious that Mr Trump has a limited grasp on history as well as contempt for the truth.

I follow this mess closely. It seems to change daily and depends on whose point of view. You tube is notoriously fact free. There are a few who seem to know what is going on in reality. Ukraine is desperately trying to hold on until it is able to produce enough weapons to defend itself. Europe would be wise to assist any way it can. If Putin takes Ukraine, he will be emboldened to keep going until the former USSR nations are back under Russian control. How do I know? He's said so publicly.

Do you mean like the chemical that's now sprayed into the exhaust system of diesel trucks?

Something called Ad Blue is injected into diesel to reduce the amount of nitrous oxide exhaust emissions. Urea is excreted from mammals in urine. Urea is used widely in fertiliser, cosmetics and skin care. My wife has problems with the skin on her lower legs. She uses moisturiser that contains urea. It's helping, not harming.

Look at what you just said. Con trail is an abbreviation of condensation trail. It is not the exhaust of the engine. It is as harmless as a cloud. It's water vapour. Of course, it's much more exciting to believe it is some kind of conspiracy. It's a shame that schools now hand out stupid pills instead of educate people in simple logic.

Tell me when you've seen a contrail from an aircraft on the ground. You won't until the aircraft starts moving. You may see some exhaust smoke under full power. Modern engines are more efficient. Smoke is unburnt fuel. That is money spewing out of the engines. Airlines hate that.

The world has enough real problems without conspiracy theorists making them up. While you run around with your tin foil hat on, the world is going to hell. Telling people that con trails will kill them gets no one saved. Especially when it is not true. You've been con-ned.

That's good she's seeing relief with a GCS topical.

I don't know anything about the Ad blue or anything against it.

I've nothing against European people either.
I've enjoyed our conversations when they visit my state as the Lord brings us together. My problem is with NATO and the United Nations. I worked on the state level to contact Senators like the late Robert Byrd to get US out of the UN. Nothing would bring me more joy than to have America out of that sinister alliance. Biden forced the US into a war by proxy through Ukraine. Now Trump is trying to undo the damage.

NATO is a powder keg now and those who have much wealth to gain from war with Russia are pushing for it hard. To me that would light the fuse on WW3. That NATO alliance is more of a risk than a benefit.

I've seen major conflicts and have been on the receiving end of personal battles.
Do you remember Mel Gibson's character in the Patriot?
It was based on a compilation of true historical American heros. He strobe for peace and made some good points why. I wish I could find the scene.
I'm for peace, but they are for war.

Who supported the U.S. military and when?
The other members of “Five Eyes”, NATO, Israel, countries from the Middle East, The EU, Japan, Korea, even Ukraine, like @Gideon300 says.

Our cooperations are interwoven closely and taking them down on a hunch from people who have no comprehension of how military cooperation works, at least they seem to get dumber when they are working this together. We may have to find a scapegoat. Maybe we can pin it on some algorithm gone rogue?

The CCP is really boasting about their capacities now. Why now? That’s the question which should be asked.

Iran is a country easier taken down by disinformation and grooming the liberation movement. The regime is not strong enough to fight this over the next years.

Greenland? A typical Trump diversion. Enough said.

@Texasgal what you really should congratulate @Gideon300 on is his ability to try to talk normally to the conspiracist crowd.
He’s talking all logically and stuff.

But while what he says about allies is true he’s missing the point that the allies have been using this as some sort of “birthright” privilege to have free money and protection from United States, which is what Trump is trying to correct.

Just because you’ve been doing it for 60 years since America gave free money away in the form of the Marshall plan, doesn’t mean that I’ll give you free money today especially when all we hear are lectures from elitists pompous professors who are out of touch with reality and don’t even appreciate but criticize USA for minutia.

It's also shameful that people like @Gideon300 and others who think like him use the memory of their dead country's soldiers as a way to make US feel morally guilty and extort money from them.

When my grandfather was fighting the Nazis in WW2, who was he fighting for? USA?
No! He was fighting for Albania or more precisely his family and his way of life!
Who were the Russians fighting for? USA? No! They were fighting for their land and way of life too!
During the process friends were made and friends were lost. But everyone was fighting for their survival first and then for their national interests.

To say that USA has to protect Albania and give Albania free money now because my grandfather's brother died in WW2 is a shameful and disgusting way of honoring your fallen countrymen and your past family members.

It's also a shame when men twice my age don't know this or refuse to know how history works.

Those who rewrite history think the small countries did the heavy lifting in not only WW2 but every conflict. At least they pretend to believe it. Now they are squealing because they have to figure out how to make it without U.S. money. Lets see how they do when the tariff changes kick in.

This is what PBS does.
They promote small stories to make it seem that all warriors in history were women, or how a small minority "won" the war.
Liberals have a lot of shortcomings that's why liberal men feel the need to beat women in sports.
No more!
