ROOTS OF ANTIFA.

This article is about the historical German organisation in the Weimar Republic. For the wider movement it inspired, see Antifa (Germany).

Antifaschistische Aktion (German: [ˌantifaˈʃɪstɪʃə ʔakˈtsi̯oːn]) was a militant anti-fascist organisation in the Weimar Republic started by members of the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) that existed from 1932 to 1933. It was primarily active as a KPD campaign during the 1932 German federal elections and was described by the KPD as a "red united front under the leadership of the only anti-fascist party, the KPD."[1] Under the leadership of the then-committed Stalinist Ernst Thälmann, the KPD viewed fascism primarily as the final stage of capitalism rather than as a specific movement or group and therefore applied the term to all other parties. The front focused largely on attacking the KPD's main adversary, the centre-left Social Democratic Party of Germany, whom they referred to as "social fascists" and regarded them as the "main pillar of the dictatorship of Capital."[2]

In the postwar era, the historical organisation inspired new groups and networks, known as the wider antifa movement, many of which use the aesthetics of Antifaschistische Aktion, especially the antifa moniker and a modified version of its logo. During the Cold War, Antifaschistische Aktion had a dual legacy in East Germany and West Germany, respectively. In East Germany, it was considered part of the history and heritage of the KPD's successor, the Socialist Unity Party of Germany. In West Germany, its aesthetics and name were embraced by Maoists and later autonomists from the 1970s.

The word MILITANT should jump out at you, anti-facist or not. Thing is, the US is not a facist county and not Germany after WW I

Antifa was AND IS a COMMUNIST roots.

"Come to us", 1932 poster
The late 1920s and early 1930s saw rising tensions mainly between three broad groups, the Communist Party of Germany (KPD) on one side, the Nazi Party on another and a coalition of governing parties, mainly social democrats and liberals, on the other side.[3][4] Berlin in particular was the site of regular and often very violent clashes.[5] Both the Communists and the Nazis explicitly sought to overthrow the liberal democracy of the Weimar Republic while the social democrats and liberals strongly defended the republic and its constitution. As part of this struggle, all three factions organized their own paramilitary groups.[6]

This is the real Antifa. Communist, terrorists seeking to overthrow democracy.

They can try, not gonna happen.
Who can try and what is not going to happen?

The Demands of Antifa and the Original Fascists Have a Lot in Common
The members of Antifa are not opponents to fascism but its genuine representatives.
Thursday, March 29, 2018

A ghastly phantom has descended upon America: the specter of anti-capitalism. Young people march behind the socialist bandwagon and some activists block free speech as members of a group called “Antifa”.

This “anti-fascist” movement engages in militant protests and does not shrink from using violence. As a part of the extreme left, the members of the “antifa-movement” are self-proclaimed “anti-capitalists” and declared “enemies of the right”. They call themselves “anti-fascist”, when, in fact, more than any other ideology, fascism characterizes their own movement.

The authors of the Fascist Manifesto demanded progressive taxation, invalidity insurance, and other types of social benefits, along with reducing the retirement age. The Manifesto demanded the confiscation of the property of all religious institutions and to nationalize the armament industry.

The authors of the Fascist Manifesto called for establishing a corporatist system of ‘National Councils’ formed by experts to be elected by their professional organizations who should hold legislative power in their respective areas.

De Ambris and Marienetti demanded a strong progressive tax on capital to expropriate a portion of all wealth and the seizure of all the possessions of the religious congregations together with the nationalization of the arms industry.

In 1922, the socialist Benito Mussolini came to power in Italy under the banner of fascism and put most of the fascist program into practice as it was proclaimed in the Manifesto some years earlier.

Compared with the Communist Manifesto
A comparison with the Manifesto of the Communist Party, written by Marx and Engels and published in 1848, reveals the kinship of fascism and Communism.

The Communist Manifesto of 170 years ago demanded:

  • Strongly progressive taxes
  • Centralization of credit in the hands of the state by a national bank with state capital and an exclusive monopoly
  • Centralization of the transport system in the hands of the state
  • Unification of the farmlands of agriculture and industry with the aim of gradually eliminating the contrast between town and country
  • Public free education of all children, elimination of factory work of children in its present form, union of education with material production.
According to the Communist Decalogue, the items left to achieve full-blown socialism were:

  • Requirement 1 - Expropriation of the landed property and use of the basic rent for state expenditure
  • Requirement 4 - Confiscation of the property of all emigrants and rebels
  • Requirement 8 - Equal obligation to work for all; establishment of an industrial army including in agriculture.
Both the Communist and the Fascist Manifestos are echoed in the official Party Program of the Nazis, which was launched in 1920.

Well he can't. He is Canadian and interestingly enough, so is Miss 11th and a few others who for some weird reason have taken it upon themselves to take the part of liars and deceivers. aka the left. Go figure.

I know you are also Canadian and show that not everyone has bought the bias of CBC and similar platforms.
.
I attribute my resistance to the evil CBC radio waves to having extra thick igloo walls plus I have the maple syrup of great patriots coursing thru my veins and not the swampy crankcase oil the others have. ;)
